What's up folks...oh yeah, it's the weekend! I don't know about you, but I've got a really great one planned and intend to make every minute of it deliver me enjoyment, happiness and a good old-fashioned fucken awesome time!
I'm here with some writing suggestions in case you are looking for something to post about over the weekend. I'll wrap up the weekend on Monday with my favourites post so please follow the guidelines below to be eligible. Post in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES Community and follow the guidelines to be eligible for curation and the favourites post.

The (hopefully) interesting prompts
What's in there?
What stuff is in your car or truck's centre console or glovebox? Take them out and photograph them to show us what they are. Explain why you have them and if they're odd things, what they do, in a post of at least 250 words. This post must contain only your own photos.
One piece
Do you have a favourite piece of clothing or pair of shoes? Take a photo and explain why it's a favourite item, you can be wearing it or just lay it out on the bed or something, get creative. You must use your own photos for this post of course and it must contain at least 250 words.
The romantic you
What is the most romantic thing you have ever done for someone. Who was it, what did you do and how was it received? Write a post of at least 300 words. It must be a true story, no fictional responses.
Saving money
Name three aspects of your life (or things) you personally spend money on but could eliminate or cut back on to save some money. List them and tell us why you chose those things, why you could cut back or go without them and why you haven't already cut or reduced them to save money. A post of at least 300 words is required.
Sexy or brainy
It's time to be honest with the blockchain...You can choose only one option only...Do you think you are sexy or brainy? Tell us which it is and why you feel that way in a post of at least 300 words. Remember, you can't be both. Use your own photos please.
Messed up
You have caught public transport to the city, alone, for a day of shopping but half way through the day you shit your pants really badly. How do you handle the situation? Write a post of at least 300 words. Make sure you title your post, I shit myself.
Curation may happen on posts that comply with the guidelines but only on quality original content. This is a chance to showcase yourself to the community and to find and build new relationships. It's about engagement with others as much as it's about posting content.

I realised that the hardest thing to do here on Hive is engagement, particularly when it comes to generating post great ideas for your Hive Post. However, your provision of weekend writing prompts has been of great help in keeping people active and promoting interaction among Hivers. I think people should focus on quality over quantity with posting or commenting, add in some passion, personality and effort and a user is well on the way.
Thanks for your words about my concept...I try to keep them interesting. I actually noticed last week that one of my topics released Friday was used as a topic for the Ladies of Hive community. I think they should have come up with their own topic and copying is in bad taste, but hey, sometimes people just can't think up stuff for themselves so have to take someone else's idea.
As for individuals, my topics are there to be written about, so if you have time and the motivation to do so, you are welcome to them.
I completely agree with you that quality matters most than quantity and adding passion, personality, and effort can make a huge difference in the engagement and impact of a post or comment.
Regarding the situation with your topic being used by the Ladies of Hive community, I can understand why you feel that way about copying ideas. However, I believe that it's also possible that they may have been inspired by your topic and wanted to explore it further from their own perspectives.
In any case, I appreciate your generosity in making your topics available for anyone to write about. Keep up the great work
Yeah, some don't have the creativity to devise their own thing, so they get inspired by someone else's.
Engagement does not only man replying to comments on your post, but commenting on other peoples' posts and thank God, we have a lot of posts, so I wouldn't say engagement is hard.
"Engagement" is a general word that I used that encompass lots of activities done on Hive but I touched on just an aspect "idea generation for post" I did not only limit it to "commenting", or "posting" and I do agree with you, posting isn't a hard thing, but generating great idea for your Hive Post, reading others post, leaving good comments, reblogging others posts, curating, posting all takes time and seem demanding.
I love this week questions, my hand is itching to write something about it but I think I will write about my favorite pair of shoes that I have been keeping for a while. Thanks for this amazing prompt sir #galenkp, have nice weekend

When I tell you about the plagiarism of ideas I mean that for me it is not valid to take the proposal of a community to use it in another as if it were yours, I believe very little in coincidences, however @galenkp this shows us that other communities are aware of what is being developed in this one, what I criticize is the lack of inspiration having an infinite amount of topics to discuss.

There are two different things going on here:
The community has a posting guide pinned to the top of the community feed page. I suggest you read it.
The #weekend-engagement concept has posts released each Friday with the topics, the guidelines and the deadline time for entries.
