Today is the first Monday of the second half of the calendar year and...well, it's just another Monday really...I'll get excited when it's Friday and the weekend looms large. Having said that, Monday is #weekend-engagement highlight post day and that's a little bit exciting right?
The writing concept is featured in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community and topics are released each Friday so content creators have all weekend to post in response to the topics I set.
The #weekend-engagement concept is to help users with writing topics to challenge their thinking and creativity and to promote great quality posting over the weekend. I also urge participants to engage with others as it's a great way to build relationships which is important to ongoing success and enjoyment on the blockchain...and it's more fun too.

I'm diabetic so don't eat chocolate, I bought this for the photo, along with many other chocolate bars. Having said that, I don't mind the mint Aero Bar. Any chocolate is a treat.

My deepest condolences dude! I really love chocolate! So much, if you cut me, i would probably bleed chocolate! But i guess you probably so used to it now right? We make the best decisions for us. My chocolate habit is not the best decision for me, but it also won't kill me. So we persist! Can I ask why are you taking pictures of chocolate bars? Sounds like a story I wanna know. Or do I?
Yeah, it's not the best thing, I struggle though it, but am a very disciplined man so do it well. My life depends on it.

Oh, Hacksaw Ridge is a great story. One hell of a brave dude. Had true courage. The courage to stick to his beliefs and the courage to risk his life for others. Stamina and fortitude that just amazed.

I know right? I was surprised to see some of the perspectives, not in a bad way, just surprised to see how people from different cultures think. Thankfully I'm Australian.
The weekend was ok, nothing too exciting happened. Monday also, nothing interesting to report except...Grilled chicken breast marinated in Nando's peri peri sauce with steamed broccoli, carrots and green beans on the side. I was the maker and the eater...and the liker.

Well I did a post today and it was about a Friday experience, but I get Friday's off in July, so it was a long weekend experience for me! Hoping I make the list!
This highlights post is only done for the posts that answer topics I set for the #weekend-engagement topics (released Friday in a post) and posted in the community. I'll have a look at your post though of course, I see them all.

You are able to post any weekend related content directly into the community any day of the week though. Any tag is acceptable, whereas for the #weekend-engagement topics entries that particular tag must be used. It's all outlined in my Friday post announcing the topics.

I loved these topics, it was very interesting to read so many different perspectives.
I especially liked those girls who broke paradigms and dared to ask a guy out, more so those who had good results and of course a thumbs up for the stories of the guys who accepted in a good way and didn't judge a woman for that.
Here in Venezuela, in general it is a macho country, although with the passing of time many things have been changing. Some men still think "if he did it with me, he will also do it with someone else" and that kind of thinking disgusts me.
I get the impression that men are quite insecure in your country, which is why they feel they need to be macho/dominant to improve their feeling of self-worth rather than be content to just be themselves. Maybe it'll change someday.
