It's Monday folks, a public holiday here so my weekend continues! I hope you've had a great weekend and managed to find some relaxation, or excitement, whatever is appropriate I guess.
I had one of those weekends in which a lot of chores got done. I mowed lawns, washed vehicles, did gardening and yard work and pretty much ended the weekend with a sore back. It's ok though, I was productive. Oh, daylight saving time started too, that means clocks went an hour forward so we'll have light well into the evening now and through to March; having daylight until about 2100 hours means a lot more gets done outside...including relaxing of which I'll do a lot.

Daylight saving?! Really? In Aus? I never knew that. So I guess SA is pretty much the only country in the world that are timeless ....
Another great quote. Probably what makes it great is that it is a tragic reality so often. On a cheerful note. Where is that photo taken? It reminds me very much of a part of South Africa.
Yeah, it's bonkers but a reality here. I don't really like it but not participating means I'm an hour late for everything. Lol.
This photo is The three sisters, in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. I wrote a post about it, there's a made up fairy-tale story from the indigenous people about the origins of the formations but, very obviously, they are a natural feature. Huge though, and impressive to see. I've done a lot of hiking in this area, not for the inexperienced though. I took this shot from the lookout at a place called Katoomba.
The quote...the ones I use usually have some relevance to something that's going on or a thought I have had recently...I don't often just randomly select them because I like them... sometimes I do though. This one has relevance.

This idiotic, turning back the clock, is an intervention in the biological, if it's night, it's night and vice versa. All to produce more!
I'm not a big fan of it, to be honest, the days are longer now naturally and I don't see why we need to extend them further. It's the reality here in my State of Australia, surprisingly not in all States, and I play the game...I don't have to like it though.

Congratulations to all those who stood out. I have read some very good posts this weekend, really good ones. It's a pleasure to see so many beautiful experiences and things that happen in life.
My weekend, if I include Friday afternoon, a nature walk was great, especially touching the water, I got some great shots, well for me they are great haha.
Also a walk with my cat, it was relaxing and beautiful.
Now we have one more hour difference! Well, the last Sunday in October the time changes here as well.

Work without digging is termed to be no work at all in my region.If you cut your leg as you do it,you have to look for a peace of cloth to tie it and continue to work. Breakfast is a luxury. May lunch time food is essential.The we work throughout the day and take a bath. Resting happens while sleeping on bed at night.
