It's been a week, a pretty good one for me, but challenging as always. Finding the time to fit everything in can be difficult and for me, well, I need to feel productive, on top of my game and that I'm doing what's required to move forward. I hope you've had a productive week and are looking forward to the weekend. I'm off to the countryside to visit an open garden, a private garden open for the public on one single day a year...if I get any decent photos I'll crack out a post for y'all. In the meantime, as always...

I'm looking forward to Sunday, it's just under a couple hundred kilometres to drive there but I like driving and with the temperature looking to be 24-25 and sunny...what's not to like. I'm not sure on the photos but I hope to get a handful, we'll see.

I don't have any solid plans this weekend. It's also going to be quite rainy. We're supposed to go for a hike tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see if we can steel some sunny moments outside. Otherwise, just chilling out with boss and the man slave!
Chillin' and getting bosses around, and biasing around slave-man seems a legit weekend to me.
Fo sho! I did some hard training this week and want to relax a bit. Will do some stretching, though! Need also have less screen time - getting lots of headaches!

Oh yeah, I want to be a cat too! Mine, Cleo, lives a life of pampering and luxury. But I don't mind her being a princess, she makes me so happy.
She stretches too, then falls back to sleep. 😋

It's a reasonably long drive out there but I'm looking forward to it and really hope it's a nice garden and I'm able to get a few decent photos for a post. There's a couple other things out there I'm hoping to photograph too so we'll see how it goes.

Like it is my practice to go in my garden and always cleaning the Bermuda grass.
Many falling leaves coming from the fruit trees. Oh much work me today. But I am happy because it a part of exercise.

Glad you had a good week Bro @galenkp As always good topics for this weekend. Personally I am marked by one in particular "talking to animals" I have always been intrigued by the question "how do pets think? it would be so much fun to be able to have a fluent conversation in words with our pets.
I was hoping someone would do that topic, I think there's a lot that could be done with it from a creativity perspective.

My week has sucked, mainly because my boss is away and I've had to take on all the responsibility that goes with it. Right now I'm sitting in a police station because there was a robbery at my work yesterday and I have to make a report and I have to wait for someone who hasn't arrived yet? Anyway, the rest of the weekend is promising.
In the meantime I'm going to switch off the plot and start writing my participation for this weekend.

I was left wishing they would turn on the siren. I think they were low on fuel and the battery wasn't enough for that. I finished very late, I'm exhausted. I got home and had to get things ready because my son starts school tomorrow. I'm in slow motion at this hour. 🥴

"A garden that can only be visited one day a year": it sounds tempting to visit it. Perhaps because scarce things look even more valuable, we tend to ignore the everyday. In any case, judging by the presentation photo it seems like a place that houses wonders.
The proposed topics sound interesting and prompt reflection. They are a challenge for those who publish for the first time in this community.
I'll do a post in the next several days about that garden I visited today, it was worth the drive out there, some 300 kilometres in all.

I have a question: if we don't have our own images because we can't always take pictures of everything, what can we do?
Use any image you have, it's not about matching the image to the post, more about showing the personality to use your own images.
All the topics are great, well, actually some of them are a bit difficult for me, especially the one about being a nude model, I don't really like it, although in the past I earned money giving massages, it's the closest thing to being a nude model, ha ha ha.
Always your opening sentences are accompanied by a great writer, but today you break it with a person, which I admire a lot since my childhood, and honestly it was not because of what he wrote, it was because of how he fought to defend something or someone.
Choose the topic that works for you, o can't please everyone all if the time right? If none appeal to you it's ok to skip it all together as I don't want people to be doing things they're not fully engaged with. If you don't like any topics, maybe do a post on Blurt, I heard you're also posting there so maybe a good option.

I'm non-religious, which means I don't celebrate anything for religious reasons, but I like Christmas time as I get to hand out some gifts for no real reason and spend quality time with people I value. I have beliefs, I just don't need a focus for them. But yeah, I like Christmas and even went to midnight mass with a girl I once knew...more to impress the girl than for any religious reason.
