Hello everyone! Last weekend my boyfriend and I had a craving to travel to a place with a beach. We live on the coast and luckily we are surrounded by many cities with beaches.
This time we visited the department of La Guajira, specifically Riohacha which is the capital and is surrounded by many beautiful beaches and places. We were there for a short time but we were still able to appreciate its beautiful sunsets and enjoy its gastronomy and culture. Next I will show you a little bit of our trip.
As soon as we arrived, we went to the mall to buy some things we needed and right at the entrance we found a beautiful monarch butterfly.
When we walked in, we were attracted by the mango micheladas they were selling, because they looked very tasty and had a lot of fruit. We were right in choosing it, because it is one of the best I have ever tasted in my life.
After that, we went to the beach because they told us that the sunsets in that city were the most beautiful we were going to see. They weren't wrong to tell us this, because it really is a beauty; I took it upon myself to take a sequence of the sunset, check it out. 🧡
After enjoying the beautiful sunset, we went to a rock and rap concert in Spanish until about 12:00 am. We were a bit tired but very hungry so we went to eat salchipapa at a street stall, it is a dish that we like a lot and besides that, it always leaves us satisfied.
The next day we didn't do much in the morning, but in the evening we went to an alternative bar in the city where they sold some really good cocktails. We took lots of pictures, laughed, danced and went back to the hotel to sleep.
And this was my weekend! I really loved it 🥰
