My Sunday. — Hive

Greetings to you all in this community. Wishing that you all may have a beautiful and blessed week, I'm here to tell you how I spent this Sunday.

Recently I went back from Havana (just a week ago), and today I returned to this beautiful city. I woke up early in the morning. Fortunately there was power and we prepared breakfast and get dressed in a few minutes. I had to prepare my bag and of course, try luck catching a car. Thank God when I started to desperate after been for a long time waiting, a friend of mine saw me and I went directly to the bus station with him in his car. I checked my passage and then I was on the bus.

From Pinar del Río to Havana, it takes approximately two hours and twenty five minutes. During the travel I was observing the landscape and listening to music. I took a nap and I woke up almost arriving at Havana.

My father was waiting for me as always. I had not eaten nothing since breakfast, so I was starving and I invited him to one of my favorite places with the best hamburgers. We went to "Zapata y 12" and enjoyed a delicious ice cream, hamburgers and pineapple juice.

The purpose of my travel is an event that will take place from 23rd to February 28th at the Capri Hotel. My reservation started at 2pm and meanwhile my father and me went for a walk around the hotel. We went to the final day of the International Book Fair and bought two more books. We walked along the "Malecón" and enjoyed the sea views. Havana is a beautiful city. No doubts of it. It really is.

Approximately at thirty past five we went back to the hotel. My father went back to his home and I sat down at the hotel lobby. I am in a comfortable room and my roommate is my boss. She is here for the event too. At seven we went to the restaurant to have our meal and after a first contact with all the group in the event by our hosts, we went to our room, had a shower and watched tv.

There was a musician playing the piano and singing traditional and modern songs, the woman next to him is his wife. They are a beautiful couple and she really enjoys her husband's work.

My room. There is another little bed, next to the window with an incredible nocturne view. That is my bed.

It was a different Sunday and I am really happy and thankful for the opportunity to be part of this work experience.
