Photo realism in the museum.

Hello every body, how was your weekend?

What have you been up to? I have been to the museum.

I saw an advertisement of Centraal museum Utrecht and I read something about photography. I was in a hurry and on my way to Utrecht so I thought lets go and have a look there. Because I love everything about photography.

When I arrived at the museum I was in for a nice surprise. It wasn't a exhibition about photography at all, it was about photo-realism. 😅 I was just to quick and misread it some were.

But still I went in, because this museums is always nice to walk around in.

The next 7 pictures are all paintings. It's a little hard to see but they all look like photographs. They all are painted just like how the situations would have been if you would have taken a picture of it. Just like this composition, just as you would have taken a picture of your best friend who is visiting you.

A real american family picture. Even the woman who is painted like she is not paying attention on the photographer.

Some signs, painted as a street art photographer would have taken a picture of it.

And of course landscape photography paintings and a paining of a shadow next to a car. the car is almost out of frame. It makes you wonder what the subject is.

And this is a pencil drawing of a woman who's pictures are taken in a photo booth.
I really like this because the artist made the women as if she wasn't sitting still in the booth. greating movment like this is amazing to me.

This one is the best. This is a paining of a notice board with a printed e-mail pined to it. It's completely painted. It looks so real. Even the wooden frame is painted. It's a beauty.

Realism in sculptures.
Without any explanation, almost every body knows who this man is. But still nobody knows who he really was. I say was, because he is probably not alive any more. China couldn't use propaganda like this back in those day's.

It's "Tank man"

This museum has got multiple floors with all different kinds of exhibitions on them. And that means there are many stair cases in this museum.

This one is like it's in a castle of some kind. The windows and arches look medieval.

This is the same staircase but then I am downstairs looking up.

I have tried to make a panorama of it but that was not really successful 😅

And another staircase in a different corner of the museum. Spiral staircases are always nice. To bed there is a concrete pole in the middle. Spiral staircases are nice if you can look down in it. This is also a panorama and this one did work out.

Impressive, the stairs must be amazing to see from real, we don't have sort of that near me

They did a good job decorating and restoring it all. I love that kind of architecture in museums.
