Another thrilling and exciting Sunday!!
If you remember my previous blog, I already mentioned how enthusiastic I am when it comes to motocross events.
Let's Drive
Today, I will be driving my motorcycle. I am in doubt about riding a motorcycle because of the unpredictable climate that we were experiencing. Now it's hot, later it will rain but just for a moment and then the glare of the sun will show up again. Oh, the climate will cause us sickness, but I don't care all I know is I wanted to see this exciting show (rain or shine).
So this is what I mean, as we enter the Municipality of Medellin, Cebu these dark clouds are waving and inviting. Telling us to come near and have a shower (🌧️). Thankfully, no raindrops appeared during our travel time.
As we approach the race track, those clouds are still with us. This is one of the disadvantages of being the driver, you need to stop if you want to capture something. This picturesque view will not escape from my lenses.
The Event
Today's event is called the 3rd Leg of the 2023 Motor Ace Motocross Series still held at Jonathan Cuyos Motocross Park. This is located at Barangay Panugnawan, Medellin, Cebu. It is the continuation of the motocross series organized by Motor Ace Philippines. The series will round up the whole year and it depends on the schedules.
As the riders fall in line going to the entrance, the audience is also getting beside the secure line. They were as excited as me, to see our idols fly high in the air.
Good thing the rescue unit of the Municipality of Medellin, Cebu was on standby in this area. They were coordinated by the organizers to assist with any emergency and medical needs. The ambulances are parked at the nearby the race track, one at the main entrance and the other at the exit. The rescue vehicle was roving around the area to make sure they could respond immediately to any casualties. They are equipped with medical supplies and materials for this kind of event.
The Audience
A serious me, an avid fan of a rider shouting together with other audience. As the engine ignites, the excitement rises as we are expecting to see another flying Enduro motorbike.
Photographers make sure to have a perfect spot to be able to capture the best moves of the riders. Even locals tried their best to capture the best angle of their bet rider.
See the difference between these photos? The other side was so cloudy while the other was sunny. But it cannot stop the people from cheering, as the bikes fly up on the bumps.
The Flying Bikes
The mud is flying together with the strong tires of the riders as they showcase their one-of-a-kind talent and skills. They entertain the audience with their resilience and at the same time aiming to win this competition.
Showing the actions of the riders makes the audience more excited and makes them more thrilled especially when they fly together. The audience would think if they landed in the same spot. This was a heart-pounding event which showed the kiddie side of mine.
Time to go Home
I wasn't able to wrap up the whole event because I was still worried about the dark clouds up there. So I just decided to go home before the last hit of the riders.
When I left the venue, I was hoping that it wouldn't rain along the way. See what beautiful weather is here? As if the sky is playing with me 🤔. I just rest for a while here thinking that everything has it's reason. I may not finish the event but I could witness this amazing view in this place.

Is the venue of the 4th motorcross still the same? I am afraid to witness in an event like that, because I am always think what might happen to the rider. Hahhaa talawan
Yes mam @simplybil there is only 1 race track in Medellin, and you will not be lost because there is a signage when your near.

Wow! This motocross event seems to be amazing!! I’ve never seen one of them and I believe it must be really exciting! I really admire how the riders can do that. The landscape also was very beautiful so it was a complete wonderful experience I guess!!
Yes my friend, they made a race track just for this kind of event. The riders really did well and no casualties happened, they make sure to win the competition to win at the same time entertain the audience. As the audience were cheering them, they also make more tricks on the race.
