What's up community? I hope you are having a great time in this, the most beautiful month of the year.... It's my first time posting here in this community and I'm very excited to share with you a little bit about how I spent yesterday, which was Saturday... You see, yesterday December 7th was "Dia de Velitas" (Candlelight Day) here in Colombia and which I don't particularly celebrate, but, I love to see the enthusiasm of the people regarding this day. On Saturdays I leave work earlier, so I decided to go with my partner to the nearest shopping mall and enjoy the ice skating rink that is set up.
Our visit to this mall started with a coffee each, it was a Vanilla Cappuccino and it was really delicious, the cups have a nice simple Christmas design. After our coffee, we stopped by a store to buy something I needed to then wait in line to enter the skating rink.
There were a lot of people in the mall and a considerably long line to enter the attraction, I was quite excited as it was my first time to enter an ice skating rink, something I wanted to do for a long time. The mall is very well decorated, there are lights everywhere and even on the outside of the mall...
When it was time to go to the skating rink, I was really nervous, I didn't know how to keep my balance and several times I felt I was going to fall (luckily it didn't happen), there were also available those penguins that you see in the picture, on which I could lean to avoid falling easily, it took me a little bit to get used to how easy it was to slide on the skating rink since it was my first time doing it hahahaha.
It was about 20 minutes inside the rink, at the beginning it was quite difficult but I would definitely do it again, it was a very fun experience even with the threatening feeling of falling, have you ever ice skated? I would like to read about your experiences. It was a really good day for me, I had a great time. I hope you liked my post today and I also hope to post here frequently. I'll say goodbye for now, thank you very much for reading and I'll see you later in another post ❤️
