This week was so good to me in my business and in my Hive activities but the weekend brought painful memories back. Attending the burial of mummy Glory reminded me the death of my beloved mother. She died at age of 60 years. You will understand what am saying now 60 years.
Mummy last days on Earth
Her last days on Earth was so painful. She suffered kidney failure and has been on dialysis for 2 years. I remembered her last Sunday on Earth when i called her Mma Ete Ubom as we use to call her and she said, am not fit again for that name. I said, mummy is your name even at death no one will take it away from you. Little did I know she will die on Tuesday after that Sunday.
Monday morning mummy said, she will no longer take her medicine. I had mixed feeling over that but did not conclude that she is dying. In the afternoon of that day, she lost her sight. She could not see again. She gradually left us completely on Tuesday morning 😭.
We cried and shout but she didn't respond to us again. Death you are inevitable. No man can run away from you. Right from the origin of Man, you have proved to be our enemy. You have reign as king over mankind.

Her husband, children and relatives
The funeral talk took place at primary school Ifa Ịkọt Okpo in Ụruan LGA
After the burial her body was taken to her husband compound to rest in her home. I could not hold my tears anymore when the dust return to dust and sand to sand. One of the Ministers held my hand and said something that reminded me that, it is a way for all Man. Her husband was surrounded by his good friend. This couples loved themselves so much.
At the grave side
I will not end this post without reminding ourselves the need to check our health regularly and also know what we eat. You should not forget that you are what you eat. Eating healthy food will result in good health. There some signs you should not neglect.
- Abdominal pain.
- Urine retaintion
- Heart pain.
- Swelling under the eyes.
- Low energy all the time
- Indigestion
- Waist pain
- Sever headache
- Bloated
- Weight gain
Though you may be busy because if your work, it is vital to make out time to care for your health now. Remember life has a formula. From zero age to 25 years. All your hormones is at their peak. From 26 to 50, you need to live a formula life. If you fail to care for it now, you will have file in the hospital.
Mummy Basset had files in different hospital. I remembered that she told me that, if this her Challenge was detected on time, she wouldn't have sufferd this much but because she was working, she had no time to go to hospital when the sign started. She advices me not to make the same mistake she made.
This weekend has been a powerful one. It went successfully and God blessed all that i did. I hope your weekend was great too. See you next week.
For Mummy Glory Bassy, I wish her surviving family members the courage to bear the loss. Death really is a big blow to the human family which is why I look forward to when there will be no more death. Until then, we will continue to be tormented by this last enemy

Suffering illness is no easy thing especially for the chronic ones and it's children mentioned above. A very strong woman
Oohhh so sorry about the passing on of mummy Glory. It is always so painful to see a close or loved one leave us. So many things always pop on in our minds. This is the journey for all of us which we will embrace when the time is right
Taking good care of our health is important for our daily lives. Be strong and be consoled my dear
