The issue of the death penalty is something that in my opinion should continue to be applied, especially to people who, no matter how many opportunities they are given, do not change, so they deserve it.
Today we live in a world surrounded by violence, too many mentally ill people, who take advantage of women and children, those are the ones who deserve it the most.
You're right, some people never learn and continue to do bad things knowingly. Those don't deserve another chance and death penalty maybe the only punishment.
Mentally ill people should be institutionalized and under treatment, but there's never enough money for them.
