Visit to Ayubia National Park, British Army's Famous Pipe Line Track

Hi friends
For a long time, I had been planning to visit a place before the onset of winter which was also a hill station and must be close enough to Islamabad to return in a day. After thinking, it was decided to go to Donga Gali, Abbottabad, which is about eighty-one kilometer from Islamabad by Kashmir Road and about ninety-two kilometers by Expressway. So finally on Sunday 08/10/2023, we departed to our journey

People visit Donga Gali because of the Pipeline Track; this track is also called Ayubia National Park.

This four-kilometer long track connects Donga Gully to Ayubia. It is called the pipeline track because the British laid a pipeline to deliver water from here to the British military cantonment in Ayubia in the 1930s, and this pipe is still there today. It is popularly known as Pipe Line Track. Deep forest runs along the entire length of this track.

Centuries old trees can be seen on the way, it is a very peaceful place where one feels relaxed.

It takes about forty to fifty minutes to cover the distance of four kilometers but since we were late in reaching, Couldn't cover the entire track, it was evening and at that time there is a fear of wild animals coming out from the deep forest, so we decided to return after two kilometers due to time pressure.

The weather was cold Enjoy pizza and coffee to keep you warm and fresh. and we enjoyed pizza and coffee to keep ourselves warm and fresh.
