Hello my dear hivers!
Today, I’ll be sharing with you the continuation of my previous blog.
Remember I mentioned that we were looking for seafood, and at that time, the water was still small, not high tide yet.
After we went back to the bahay kubo, my mom had already arrived. When I got there, my mom said that our relative from my dad’s side had visited and suggested we go to Anapog to swim, where the sea is clean and there are spots to settle.
This relative of ours works as a guard at a beach resort, but we weren’t going to swim at his workplace. After he checked on us and suggested the place, he went back to his duty and told my mom to just message him if we were heading to the beach resort where he worked.
So, a few minutes later, my mom relayed their conversation to us. Our other companions agreed and said, “Let’s go there too, so we can continue collecting seafoods,” and thus we had more to gather.
We left at 11 PM, and the streets were really quiet, but we were surprised because, as we were heading there, we saw a crowd of people. It turned out there was a fiesta and an event at the complex.
But anyway, after a few minutes, we finally arrived. Upon reaching the place, we went straight to find a good spot to lay our things. It was easy to find a spot since not many people were staying overnight there.
We set up our things, and a few minutes later, I lay down because I was tired from the looking and searching for seafoods. I was the first to lie down, and my older cousins laughed at me for being so tired. After a while, my little cousin lay next to me because she was also about to sleep, and share to me that this was the first time she was staying up late.
Earlier, I had cleaned up at the house of our relatives since there was a lot of mud on my feet from the earlier activity. I also made sure to take a half bath since it was already late and I wanted to be ready for bed.
While I was lying down, ate asked if I wanted to eat or drink coffee or milk. I just replied, “Thank you, ate, but I’m really sleepy now.” They smiled and said, “Good night.”
Later, we woke up, and my younger cousin, who was sleeping next to me, took the longest to wake.
The sea had risen, and they went swimming.
I didn’t swim because I had already cleaned up earlier and there was no public restroom nearby.
So, I just took some pictures of the beautiful view.
