Today, I’d love to share our family outing with you.
My aunt, who planned this trip, only visits the Philippines occasionally because she lives and works abroad. This beach resort is our go-to spot whenever they arrive, and we've been coming here since childhood. I also like it here because the lower part has the beach, and the upper part has a swimming pool.
When you enter the beach, a guard will ask if the reservation has been made, and yes, my aunt had already made one.
We had to pay an entrance fee, but because my aunt handled all the payments, I was unsure of the precise cost. There’s also an additional charge for using the swimming pool, but we didn’t mind because we came here to swim in the sea, not in the pool.
Once we finished eating, we chose to go to the beach. Since the tide was still low, I suggested, " Let's take some pictures at the beach." Everyone agreed, and we started capturing memories.
I have two aunts, siblings of my dearest mother. The outfits we were wearing came from the aunt who brought us here; she let us choose what we preferred.
My uncle, is also my mother's brother, took our pictures. He was the only male with us, and we really wanted to take pictures together as women.
We also took a selfie with my uncle.
After that, I had some solo pictures taken in the sea and near the sand, where I was holding a barbecue from my uncle.
It wasn't only swimming; it was also having some memorable moments with more family members.
My aunt was not a frequent visitor, but such moments reminded one of how a family should enjoy each other's company.
