Your target achievement
What are you aiming at right now; let's call it a major goal you're looking to achieve within the next five years. What is that major thing you want to tick off and what actions are you taking to bring it to reality? What are the obstacles you face, how are you working to overcome them and what will it mean to achieve your goal.
For a couple of months now I have been thinking about an idea that has been going around in my head. It has raised quite a few questions, which I have tried to answer one by one.
I had a business plan, but it's not something that will make me money immediately. Rather, I would say it's something I will have to invest in for the long term.
That's what I'm aiming for now, a goal I want to accomplish to end a job I don't feel like doing. I'm talking about salaried work, where I have to follow orders from a boss.
I don't feel like following orders, I have a rebellious nature in that sense and therefore I would like to be my own boss.
In my country there is social aid for people who want to start a business.
To do this you have to go through some stages, the people in charge of giving the money have to see that you are really interested in what you are doing. Of course, they also have to check that the idea is viable to work with.
You have to fill in some forms for a pre-selection of projects and then they will let you know if you are selected. Then come the meetings and training to understand how to run a microenterprise.
Right now I'm in the first phase, waiting to be shortlisted.
But if I don't get the funds, I can apply for a loan, which is also a government grant. Where you don't have to have a bank as an intermediary and it's much easier to ask for a cash amount.
My first and only obstacle is to appease that voice that tells me "I'm not going to make it".
I've always put aside many things for fear that they won't work out, I don't even try.
And like creating art, it's not the same as working in an office. You know, you can't be sure if you will be able to sell or if the clients will even like your creations.
That's why I have to overcome that big obstacle.
There are several ways to work with resin and I have chosen to mix it with natural materials such as minerals and dried flowers.
Here I am going to leave you an example image of some pet tags, created by a family member who works in this field. She also makes creations but for animals, I'm just in the we'll see if it turns out ..... 😅
Although my thing will be to create costume jewelry and for that another type of resin is used.
From now on the road to this goal begins, which I want to accomplish whatever it takes.
I only need materials and machinery, I already have the creativity.

I've always wanted to try make things using resin, but never got to do it. I think that first step of overcoming the voice of doubt is going to have to be using some opposing sayings to give you that extra little nudge. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" and "you'll never know unless you try" are two that I have used many times when that doubt crept in.
I'd love to see some posts in the future of your epoxy crafts and keep us in the loop if you get the grant. Wishing you lots of good luck 🍀
Hola Juany;)
I hope you qualify for the funds. It is good the government of Chile does sometimes give money to start a microbusiness.
Resin and flowers now that sounds interesting. I knew that nature would have to be involved, as I know your love of nature!
So good luck with it and let us know what happens Juany💙
Hi Ed!!! I thank you very much for your good wishes and hope to have the results soon. For now I can only wait ☺️
🤞 Hi Juany, I will keep my fingers crossed and wish you to get the good news soon:)
