Sunday Sunshine: A Joyful Beach Day

Hello, lovely people! How's your start of the week? Hope you're starting as productively and enthusiastically as you want. Well, for now, I just have something to share about my last weekend, specifically last Sunday. Weekends for students and working individuals are the happiest days of the week because we get to rest and take a short break from this fast-paced and demanding world. Good thing I was able to go home and spend quality time with my family. While I was still in the city, my parents informed me that we got invited to a beach birthday celebration for my mom's cousin's granddaughter. With the news, I was so excited to come home, especially since I miss my family a lot, and I badly wanted to go to the beach. The relaxation the beach gives is just different. It seems like all the stresses we have got carried away by the waves instantly. Therefore, I made sure to bring my rash guard.

Yohoo! Here we go. We were on our way to the beach—the same beach where we usually spend our family's special celebrations. While traveling, we enjoyed talking with each other, laughing, and enjoying nature's sights. Everyone was so excited, including our sweet and hyper furbaby.

Of course, I didn't let this pass. I made sure to bring my baby Mochi with us. He seemed so sad when he noticed we were already packing to leave the house, and then when he saw me holding his leash, he started jumping. He was super happy. It was his first time going to the beach as well. So, especially the kids, were too excited. I knew he was probably wondering where we were going, but he was really just enjoying his travel moment. This baby has been used to traveling, and he always loves to feel the fresh air.

Then, we arrived at the beach. We were welcomed by my mother's cousin, and we wished a happy birthday to their cute little granddaughter. The others had already eaten, but here I was watching over the kids while holding my furbaby, who was taking his time to realize where he was. I loved the weather when we arrived because it wasn't that hot. The kids went into the water, and my cute little niece was super happy, showing her vampire-like teeth. This is K, my petite and incredibly charming niece.

The kids were already playing with Mochi and attempted to bring him into the water, but my furbaby was still scared. The children were all smiles. They are beach children, and they always love swimming. Honestly, these kids didn't care if they hadn't eaten yet. All they cared about was splashing and swimming. When they were at the beach, it always seemed like they had their own world. When they heard about plans to go to the beach, their ears automatically perked up.

The children definitely had a wonderful time, and our furbaby, who was initially scared of being in the water, started to attempt swimming. I guessed he liked it and felt secure and excited since all of us had our eyes on him. We were hesitant at first about whether he would know how to swim since it was his first time, but yes, dogs were indeed natural swimmers. Sometimes I tried to get him out, but he still wanted to swim. Our dear Mochi had a great time. When low tide came, he even ran so fast back and forth over the sands. Everyone, especially the kids and my parents, were so happy watching him, obviously very delighted. Seeing him happy melts my heart.

We already ate, and after that, I took some time to feel the cool breeze and appreciate the surroundings. Here are some of the snaps I took. I totally loved the weather during last Sunday’s beach experience because it wasn’t too hot. The feeling was incredibly serene and calm, added by the soothing sound of waves and the gentle breeze of the air. It always seems like music to my ears. With the natural beauty of the ocean, for me, it really helps reduce stress and provides me a sense of peace. Nothing beats the feeling of spending time at the beautiful beach with my loved ones.

That's all for now, dearest Hivers! Let me end this blog with one of the cutest photos of my Sunday—Mochi looking and waiting for Papa. They love each other; they're best friends. Thanks for reading, everyone. See you around!

Sunday is family day. 😍

Absolutely! Sundays are the perfect day to enjoy quality time with our family, but sometimes we have work to do even on Sundays. So, spending moments like this is really special and a great way to chill before the week begins.

Hahaha, right, I hope someone will make a petition, charowt, lolol. Ang dali pa namang matapos nang Saturday and sunday. Parang hangin lang na dumaan.

Hahaha... I don't know a single furry friend who doesn't experience happiness when they see us grabbing their leash before leaving the house.

Unforgettable moments with your loved ones. The beach is a lot of fun, de-stressing and in my case, it makes me very hungry too.

I hope you guys had enough to eat because there are so many of you! hahaha... yes, I'm sure there were.

Hahahahaha, you're so right! It's impossible not to smile when the furbabies get excited at the sight of their leash. Yes, this beach trip is really the best for unwinding, and you got it right—we had a lot of fun and food. Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate it. ✨
