In the a world full of people on masks; masks not just a safety measure against the globally ravaging virus but masks that shield 🛡️ the heinous contempt from detection. Yet few stand out from the rest and are simply amazing!
These amazing ones are selfless, seeming flawless, yet defenseless. Oh, yes, defenseless as they are true and caring even to fault; they would let down their gaurd to save others. These are people I call the faithful few!
The faithful few? Oh life did me well to have brought me a couple of them... And @Monica-ene is one of these walking angels who had supported me in ways too many to count. Hey, if not even for her, perhaps I wouldn't have known about hive. She didn't just get me onboard through the help of her friend @gloriolar, she's been a pushing force to get me going on the Blockchain... and no, wouldn't have even known of this community nor any contest without her unflinching support.
Unflinching support through text messages (terrible at call, chuckles), encouragement and handsouts when she sees a lingering need. By supporting me to be part of every "moving train 🚂" she boards and seeing that I don't fall off the coach has been a retaining experience that wouldn't fizzle out off my consciousness in a hurry and it has helped me see life in its entirety in new dimensions and as a tool to reaching out to others the more.
Sadly, it's a general opinion that no one is damn irreplaceable, well I think such axiom was coined by a "surface scratcher" (one who just can't see past the surface of a unique individual) and well propagated by flotsams of the society. An axiom I strongly oppose; I think the faithful few are irreplaceable and should therefore be treated as such.
Oh, if you ever find yourself "off-mask" in the world that fancies gorgeous masks 😷 to conceal ugly traits, thoughts and acts, never feel awkward about your awesome difference. Take solace in the fact that in the world of people like me, you belong to the very prestigious group of the "faithful few".
Wow, what a heavy loaded one you have written here, am glad I could help.
Keep your head straight, get connected and you will find friends of like mind around here
What can I say, identifying a need and spurring to action is not a common behavior... Again, thanks for being awesomely different
I like your words. Honor to whom honor is due!.
Exactly my thought! I think we should cultivate the habit of celebrating the faithful few in our lives. Cheers to a beautiful Monday!
