Bob Marley was one of many musicians local and international who used the power of music to make for change. More songs that carried meaning through those dark days.

Relating directly to Apartheid, Stevie Wonder "It's Wrong (Apartheid)", Brenda Fassie "Black President" Local, Johnny Clegg and Savuka "Asim'bonanga" Local, Miriam Makeba "Ndod'emnyama (Beware Verwoerd)" Local, Eddy Grant "Gimme Hope Jo'Anna".

Yes music helps make change, able to reach many more people.
