When I was younger my mother did everything for us, she gave me toys every Christmas I can still remember that From Nintendo to Bike, Dolls with accessories. But I do remember I never asked for it, of course I was very happy with my toys and very grateful, but she never taught us to ask for toys or anything, my brother did (he is 4 years older than me)... Well some day my mother didn't decorated our house I remember that Christmas day I asked her: no Christmas presents? She said no and my answer was that's okay mom, I'm not sad. Then she said I guess you've grown up! I was twelve and since that day I don't celebrate Christmas and I don't care if we don't celebrate Christmas, I realized my mom did those things for us and all by herself she was single and poor, we were a poor family but she managed somehow! And well we just love Christmas food hahahaha. Well after all that sometimes I decorate and sometimes I don't and I don't care, I like how beautiful it looks but the important thing for me has always been that we are alive and not the celebration!
Now answering the first question, lol. Kind of the same of @creativemary A giant 🧸 for the same reasons lol, I had teddy bears, but small sizes, but I think I can't have what I want because I'm gonna be moving constantly so I can't bring a giant teddy bear everywhere, lol.
What a beautiful picture, you look so @josehany
I also put a picture of my teddy bear, I updated my comment jejej but I don't appear because my bear is in another house and my brother did me the favor of taking the picture.
You know, we have that in common, when I was a kid my mom used to decorate the house, then as a teenager she delegated that job to me, and Christmas stopped being fun to be a time of work and excessive cleaning.
Then I would put up the Christmas decorations for my brothers, when they grew up I stopped doing it, there are Christmases that provoke me and I put them up, not like this year.
And I don't feel bad about that, it just didn't provoke me, I enjoy Christmas eating typical dishes and being with my family.
Haha thanks that is an old pic!
Because Christmas I believe is very commercial! I just do the things that I like and when I want to 🤭🤭 but being alive and healthy is more important than any celebration
Yesss.
Another giant teddy bear huh? Well, you'll have to buy two seat on the plane when you fly if you get one that is too big so, maybe a medium sized one?
Just on your first paragraph...We don't usually do much for Christmas. we are not religious people and so we have some nice food, something special or that we wouldn't normally have maybe, have a few more snacks around the house than usual and sometimes put a Christmas tree up. We went to a little more effort this year as my mother in-law is very sick so we want to create some memories, have some fun, but normally we don't make a big deal out of it. The event is so commercialised these days that I find it difficult to get very excited about it. We don't have kids either, so that makes a difference.
Anyway, thanks for joining in this week.

Exactly too much commercial, I used to be a religious but I had bad experiences in the church that made me abandon religion, now the only thing I think is that you have to do good. For now I am single and I have no thoughts of having children, I had thought about it but if I take it to reality it is not very realistic of me, but if I do have they will be very well educated about these commercial festivities, I enjoy the decoration for the beauty and the food but it is not my tradition

tokens.Another Teddy Bear. That's a pretty cool choice.
I had a bear that I remember. Smokey. He had a square metal buckle on his belt and khaki trousers. He was pretty scruffy when I remember him, I may have leaned on him pretty hard earlier...
