Sikatuna's Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden is one attraction in Bohol that aims to showcase the landmarks of the different countries in the world.
It's quite a huge area. It has six phases and currently, only phases one and two are completed. When you visit the site, you'll see the progress of the attraction, there is always progress and the first time that I had been here, it was just phase one had opened. The second time, we were able to see phase two but it was not yet finished. Finally, on our third visit, we were able to get there on a Sunday night so we had the chance to see its light display.
I was with my mother, niece, and siblings. We arrived around 6:30 PM. It is just a 20-minute drive from Tagbilaran City. We didn't plan on staying late, we just want to see the attraction and bring a friend too to enjoy the view before she returns to Mindanao.
Entrance fee is Php 170 for adults, kids below two years old are free while seniors pay only Php 135, and those children below 3 feet are charged at Php 50 per head. There's a different entrance fee for day use and night though. It's much cheaper during the day and this is because they have to spend on the lights too at night.
But there were still a lot of visitors even at night, we didn't expect it though but it's nice to see people are going out again and tourism is surely back in the island!
I guess most visitors would want to see the Eiffel Tower and that's also the first one that we took photos of. My phone's night mode photo feature was really helpful. We took a lot of photos but we have to stay still for a few seconds so we won't get blurry pictures!
Phase one includes Japanese Koi Pond, Botanical Garden, Statue of Liberty, Christ the Redeemer, Pergola Rotunde, Merlion, Greek Gods, and Goddesses. Phase two on the other hand includes Golden Gate Bridge, Acropolis of Athens, Eiffel Tower, Little Mermaid of Copenhagen, Tower of Pisa, and Manneken Pis of Belgium.
They also opened their Cafe Acropolis which offers nice and cheap Filipino food and drinks for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Although we had no plans of eating there, we went up to the Acropolis to see the view from there. It takes a lot of steps though but we had to take the stairs slowly for our mother who is already a senior. She was able to reach the top without problems!
Reaching the top, it has indeed better view. We can see the entire place and the columns here are also picturesque! We took a lot of group photos and wide shots to make sure the view will be included in the shot.
Boholanos are really lucky to have this attraction. Imagine seeing these landmarks without flying abroad or even securing a visa! I am just excited for the rest of the phases to be completed in the future.
They are still going to construct the Petronas Tower, Big Ben, and more! I am sure that those who had already visited the place will still want to come again because there are more to see!
Aside from that, they will also be constructing the Great Wall of China and even a castle from Germany! Oh I can't wait! I believe this will be a great place as well for photography too. I am not sure though if they'd allow exclusive use, perhaps in the morning, there will be less people around.
If you plan to visit Bohol, don't miss to include the Sikatuna Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden! It is worth visiting for sure! The best time for me to go there is around four in the afternoon when the sun is not that hot anymore but you'll pay Php 150 only. Enjoy the scenery, have some snacks or early dinner at Cafe Acropolis and wait for the mood to transition from day to night so you can enjoy the view at night too!

Really the photos were spectacular with that night mode, I have to try with my phone since at night they come out horrible hahaha, blurry. Without a doubt, the Mirror of the World and Sikatuna Botanical Garden is a beautiful place, very striking and interesting, it is incredible that in one place you can see the most important attractions of the countries of the world, it really is a Blessing for the Boholanos have this special place. I'm glad you, your mom and your niece have been able to enjoy this walk, I hope the other phases finish soon and you can come back to meet them. Thanks for sharing your publication friend @junebride
yes you should explore the night mode option.. I use it with night photography, just have to have a steady hand or you can use a tripod or anything that can make the phone steady
Excellent thanks for the information, that's how I'm going to do it, it really costs me a lot to take shots at night, sometimes I think I have so many things to photograph at night, but since I know they turn out ugly I haven't tried anymore. Thank you for all the info.
welcome dear!
Omg! Now I have few reasons to go back to Bohol. Great photos by the way. Truly awesome. Can't wait to visit Bohol again. Thanks for sharing @junebride. This is great. 😍❤️
