Hi Hivers! Can't you imagine I'm back again with another blog? Ahm, I'm here again. 😆 Haha, just kidding. Well, let me share with you how my weekend day went.
My weekend was full of the ideal balance of faith and fun, from the passionate procession to the happy celebration.
Little get-togethers, sharing foods, and bonding every Sinulog. Our very own yearly tradition. The weekend began with a sense of solemnity, as I took part in the Sinulog procession. Later, an atmosphere changed to one of celebration as we held a tiny fiesta at home, jam-packed with festive music and excellent food.
Sinulog Procession
Last Saturday, my family and I went to Cebu City to attend the mass of Snr. Santo Niño and also attend the procession. We always do this every year; it is our yearly tradition since I and my siblings were still kids. From the countless people who attend every year, we always put in mind that at least for once our little Niño's can see Sto. Niño. We feel happy if we see our little Niño's smile, and some people will take pictures of it smiling.
Going there was a bit exciting because it was really traffic, and some of the roads were closed, and at that time, Senior Sto. Niño was about to pass by our destined location. But luckily he still let us see him pass by.
After that, we wait for the mass to start at 5:30 pm. Although we didn't really get inside the church because of many people, there are still big speakers outside so that we can still hear the mass.
Feast Day
On Sunday, my sister ordered some pizza for us to have a little celebration. We had a great bonding time that time; we talked, laughed, and sang. We also call my brother, who is not with us at that moment.
For dinner, we go to my grandma's house. We always go there to eat and celebrate every Sinulog feast. The foods are sponsored by my aunt, who is in Australia. We also had a great time there talking and laughing, sharing each other's experience of the time we always go to Cebu City to watch fireworks.
I have some pics here from way back in 2023 where we celebrate and have some get-togethers.
That's all for my weekend experience! See you on my next blog. Adios! Mwah😘 SPREAD LOVE AND POSITIVITY!!♡

I really like this culture in Cebu. Also you had time with your family like you'll eat together 😊
Indeed, this is one of the best events that you can experience here in Cebu.

Yes, we really had a great time at that moment.
Sinulog is really more fun when you're celebrating with your family or friends because it can also help you bond with them 💗
