What's up, Hivers! It's me again ^~^ Come with me as we go to church and stroll at the mall with my man. Just a little spontaneous date with him 🤗. This is how my weekend day went.
Last Sunday morning I had another agenda to go first. I went to a massage because it is our final requirement to have a whole body massage. I was with my blockmates at that time because only one person made reservations for us. The massage was relaxing, and it makes my back pains go away, and I feel light after the massage.
After the massage, I go to my man's house to wait for him to prepare. Afterwards, we go home first to my house so I can change into better clothes. As we arrived at Sto. Niño Church, there were so many people. It's understandable since the Sinulog festival was fast approaching. To those people who don't know what "Sinulog" is, it is a religious and cultural event in Cebu that happens every third Sunday of January. Many people go there to pray and make devotions to Sto. Niño. Their parking fee was 50 pesos. It doubles now since it is Sinulog.
So we offer our prayers and listen to the homily. We also sang the Batobalani sa Gugma. The phrase "bato balani sa gugma" is an encouragement to be a magnet for love, to love without bias or discrimination. The hand-waving gesture can express a variety of emotions, including acceptance, pleading, happiness, and thankfulness.
After the mass, we plan where to eat. At first we planned to go to the busay since we missed going to the busay, but since the weather that day was not in the mood. We changed our plans and just went to SM City Cebu. There were so many people at SM Cebu, so we didn't know where to eat because the restaurants were so full. We're just strolling around and just window shopping first.
Upon waiting, my partner wants to play bato-bato pick, and whoever wins will choose where we eat. He wins, though, but then she lets me choose where to eat. He couldn't decide where to go, so I got irritated because he was so indecisive, and I'm a little bit hungry at that time. I chose Dimsum Break because that was the restaurant that has a small waiting line. We ordered steamed rice, garlic pork, chow mein, and iced tea.
After dining, my partner wants to eat a dessert while taking a little stroll. He chose Dairy Queen as our dessert. We simply got one because I didn't want to eat too many sweets at the time. As we continue walking, we come across the other side of the mall, which has a nice ceiling design. We took some pictures, then went to Watsons to get something for our needs. We felt exhausted and decided to go home, since the mall was also about to close at the moment.
