Urgently in need of a personal chef

I grew up in the village where we( my siblings and I) loved to hang around the kitchen for many benefits, which got our eyes keen on the cooking steps from Mama. Also, we were made to adopt the lifestyle of cooking, which saves a lot of money compared to buying food from eateries.
With this, I learned how to cook in the early days of my life, and it's something I enjoy so much. All through my school life, the number of times I ate from outside was not up to five. I love eating from my pot because it saves a lot.

But now, I don't know where my love for cooking travelled to. I've been trying to call it back, but it's seriously giving me a 'bye-bye👋'.

For the past three years, my immediate younger brother has been living with me; he studies in my city, so we thought it wise that he live with me to save on that double house rent. Ever since then, he's been in charge of the kitchen.

Although I do cook, but only when he's not around, or maybe I needed to test what I can do again with the idea that 'practising will help me remain relevant" instead of practising makes perfect. Lol😂

Just last month, my brother got called up for a compulsory national youth service for graduates, and he left, leaving me to battle with cooking again. So bad I don't have a fiance to help me with cooking.

Among the things listed on this week's prompt are:

  • A personal barista (coffee-making specialist)
  • A personal fitness trainer
  • A personal chef
  • A cleaning maid or man
  • A personal nipple-tweaker

It's the personal chef that I urgently need to save me from the battles of running helterskelter on my head whenever I'm cooking. I need this chef around for at least two months so I can balance myself and invoke back my cooking ability because I'm currently struggling to find my way around the kitchen.

A personal chef available at the flick of my hand would be a good relief for me.

  • I would not need to rack my brain anymore on what to cook whenever I'm hungry. Funny enough, I only remember the kitchen when my stomach is already crying. You know how it is to start thinking of what to cook when hunger is heavily signalling 😭.

  • Having this chef around for now would solve the problem of having to forcefully eat any rubbish I prepare. There's one thing that comes with living alone and making your own food: if you cook rubbish, you must eat it, nobody will help you finish it quickly unless you have friends that do visit or neighbours that have access to eating in your home. These days, I've been so careful whenever I want to cook because I don't want to end up cooking rubbish that I wouldn't be able to eat. This carefulness takes time and slows the cooking process. Imagine spending two hours just cooking.

  • Also, the chef must be a good cook, which means he or she will be giving me delicious meals to the 'standard of an 'eatery (the rate of food we buy in nice eateries). Oh my God! I'm imagining too much. Lol😂.

Let me drop my keyboard here.

Thanks for reading.

This is my response to the week 163 prompt in the Weekend Experiences Community.
