From early on in our relationship Sammi Jo has earned her name. She is crazy. Like many kittens. She got into everything. I had to kitten proof the Prime Mover and house. Much like child proofing a home. But as you can see. They still find a way...
For the last 12 years and 8 months my Kitty has always been nearby. As I start to type this post I look to see where she is. And all I had to do was turn my head. Boom! There she is.
I often joke about her being a dog. I was (and still am) a dog guy. Shhhh do not tell Samantha! LoL
She acts like a dog at times.
As you can see here. I swear she was going to lift her leg and pee on that fire hydrant.
I think anyone here reading this has most likely suffered thru the loss of a pet. In 1996 I lost my Shawny Dog. A collie mix that I spent 5 short years with. My sister was dog sitting and left her unattended and she was hit by a car. I took that very hard and was angry at my sister for many years. Both of them pictured here.
Now they are both gone. and I do believe that Sammi Jo fills a huge empty spot in my heart. This little kitty helped to heal some very deep emotional wounds. For both @pooky-jax and I both.
Samantha also has a boy kitty that she loves deeply. His name is Jax. Pictured here.
He was our second rescue. Due to the fact that Sammi decided that I belonged to her. My wife Kelly was left with no kitty. Jax is a momma's boy. But I think he will always be Samantha's too.
We have never seen her cuddle with any of the other rescue cats. Except when they were young kittens. Then She is a hands on foster Momma. Here are a few photos of that.
I think we can all agree no matter what the pet breed or species is that you love. From Dogs π to Kitties π and everything in between. The biggest problem with our pets is they do not live long enough. So go get a cuddle right now. Even if it turns into a struggle snuggle. Love that fuzz bugger cuz time is short and it will fly by way too fast.

having a pet is a gift, moreover it's a cute and cute cat. I have also felt pain when I saw a pet we loved die
