I Am a D̷O̷G̷ Cat Guy

The Sammi Jo Rescue Story has been here on the HIVE and revisited many times by this KrazzyTrukker. I was in NO WAY looking for a cat as a sidekick to travel down the highways with me. You can read that rescue story to find out about how that took place in this 🔵Blue Sammi Jo's Rescue Story Link🔵

"Ragdolls... are often known as "dog-like cats" or "puppy-like cats", due to their tendency to follow people around, their receptiveness to handling, and their relative lack of aggression towards other pets"...

Since a very young age I have been fond of dogs. Never did I care much for cats until Sammi Jo won my heart 💕
In fact I will now tell you a Horror Story about my first few pets.

Dogs & Ducks

My early memories when I was 5-6 maybe 7 years old are of a dog I had as a pet. A mutt mix. I do not even remember where it came from. I just know I loved that dog. His collar had worn out where the chain hooked to it and my Horrible Mother said she could not afford another dog collar as she puffed away on her Pall Mall Cigarettes and drank her booze. She said to just put the chain around it's neck and hook it. Well a few days later I had to watch my older brother put that dog down due to it's neck being sliced open from that chain. Thanks Mother Dearest...

The Ducks were so cool. We had a small pond in the back yard. As a child I would throw stale bread to them and they would come up and take it right out of your hand. Fast forward to a long winter and being dirt poor. I watched my grandpa Ken chop the heads off my pets and throw them into a 50 gallon drum of boiling water. Then throw one in front of me and tell me to pull the feathers out. I ran home screaming and crying to Mommy Dearest. I do not remember any sympathy or condolences from her. Probably a bitch slap or a hair pulling. They were a daily occurrence. She would say...

"Your just like your father, I am gonna send you to live with your father..."

Bitch...

I have had several dogs whom I loved dearly as I do Sammi Jo right now. The dog version of Samantha would have been Shawny a collie mix. I still think of her often and how she was taken from me thru someone else's stupidity. R.I.P. Shawny Dog...

I would like to have another Siberian Husky again someday. Here are a few fotos of the ones I have had in the past.

We have passed on several rescues since the loss of Sierra in May of 2020. Full blown Covid Madness was in effect and the Veterinarian that we used then (Now We Do NOT!) would not let us be with her when she took her last breath. So much for the miracle face diapers that we even agreed to wear solving all ills. Fucking Medical Tyranny.

If and when I get off the highways I will rescue another Siberian. I have always wanted a red and white one. Nothing quite matches the love of a pet. I guess it is the way one feels about their children. I would not know as we chose not to have any. But I do know I would give my life to save @krazzy-kitty Sammi Jo. Just like I would for my @pooky-jax. Kelly.

Thanks for Walking the D̷O̷G̷ Cat with me on this #weekend-engagement

Doggonit! if that ain't one doggone pile of pooches.
Your mother sounds like a right charmer, something like my own!

Mommy Dearest...

A few others ended up doing her job for her. Thank you to Gramma Hazel and my Step Momma Lucy. They really raised me. What awesome people they were. I miss them both. 💔

Your journey with pets is truly emotional—from heartbreak to deep love. Sammi Jo sounds like a perfect companion, and I admire your dedication to rescues. Losing Sierra that way must have been awful, but I hope you find that red and white Husky someday. Pets really do leave lasting paw prints!

🐾🐾🐾 Paw Prints fer sure🐾🐾🐾

With the lack of Children here on this household it raises our pets status to a much higher level IMO.

You've got a bunch of great photos of your furry friends over the years! I don't know of any pictures left of my cats, or the one dog I had as a kid. I'm hoping to get a dog later on this year if the stars align! I'd for sure be adopting or rescuing one, I'm not going to waste my time with that store shit.

Always cracks me up seeing cats with leashes and collars!

What breeds you leaning towards?

I am not a fan of the smaller yappy dogs. Or the aggressive scary breeds like Pit Bulls, Dobermans or Rottweilers.

The top 5 most feared dogs are Pits, Dobes, German Sheps, Rots, and Huskies

The Siberians do not belong on that list in my honest opinion. Maybe Chows as they are very aggressive. Huskies are only on there because they look scary and wolf like. It is a bad rap as they are some of the most loyal and kind breeds.

Also Germ Sheps are loyal and kind. They make the list because of Police & Military training.

I was thinking a lab or something. I’m not a fan of the aggressive dogs and Germans are awesome but probably hard to find since they are a great dog.

Can't go wrong with a Lab or Springer. They are quite awesome. My father had a Springer Bird Dog when I was a kid.
