An Epic Saga. I used to have quite the battles with Racoons in our Colorado house, and at a previous house in Missouri. Folks underestimate their cleverness, power, and meanness. They chewed two holes in our roof got into our attic and had many babies, undiscovered for a year or two, the damage to electrical wires and cleaning the attic, repairing damage was about $15K. In Colorado, they would also get into our back porch through the cat door and terrorize our cats / steal their food along with our other pantry storage. They literally destroyed a couple of the live trap cages getting out, and after that it was hunting time for me as well.
I don't think they are cute any more. I'm positive they are plotting against you now.

That 4th one coming down to the ferals territory and almost begging to be killed is very creepy.
Proud of my wife tho. She was gonna put a 9 mm slug in it's head till that derailed literally (jammed)
Next week I will talk about Mole Rat Bastards.
