Good evening everyone, today I come back here to recommend to you a beautiful place that I went to on my weekends, this is Thua Thien Hue province (Hue city). Since the distance was quite long, about 100km from Da Nang city, and the pass is also quite dangerous for me to drive, so I decided to travel by train instead of driving by motorbike. This is not the first time I have come to Hue to travel, I have gone many times before, each time with different beautiful memories. My trip has a lot of interesting things and many new experiences, I also went to many places that I have never been, there are lots of beautiful sceneries, I will show to you below!
This time I went with my best friend, whom I introduced you to in my first post. We packed our things and arrived at the station at 7:45 a.m, then we departed from Da Nang train station at 8a.m. The scenery around us are mountains and hills with lots of green trees, I really enjoy watching the streams flowing below when the train crosses the bridges, the sound of flowing spring water makes me feel very peaceful. After 3 hours of sleeping while listening to the sound of the stream, we finally arrived at Hue station.
Hue Citadel was the first place we went, and we went there by taxi. We stopped at a roadside coffee shop and bought two cups of milk coffee to help us stay awake after a 3 hour train ride. The scene here is always as solemn as the previous times I came. Seeing the Vietnamese flag fluttering in the wind makes me feel extremely proud to be a Vietnamese citizen. Today the weather is very beautiful, I can see the blue clouds above, the sun rays shining down on this place make the beauty more perfect. We took a lot of pictures here before moving on to the next location. Although this is my 4th time coming here, I do not feel bored, on the contrary I feel very happy and satisfied.
After visiting the imperial city of Hue, we moved to the incense village. We know this place because we have researched many places before making this trip, we watched a lot of videos on Tiktok, Facebook, etc. The address of this place is 64 Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, Thuy Bieu ward, Hue city, you can search on google map to go there. You can rent Hue-style clothes and take pictures at this place, the rental price is 50,000VND/1 set (including ao dai, pants, and headband). Incense has many colors that are bundled into small bundles of the same color, and are decorated alternately to look very eye-catching. This place was not widely known before, however, after the development of social media, especially the Tiktok platform, recently this place attracts a lot of young people from many different places come here to check-in and review.
After visiting the incense village, we stopped at a small roadside restaurant to have lunch and rest. Then, around 3 pm, we continue to go to the next place, which is Vong Canh hill. We climbed the hill to visit, I was amazed by the majestic beauty below with a blue sky, a turquoise river, two forests on both sides, boats floating on the river. I take a deep breath and exhale, I enjoy the fresh air here, I really love it.
We returned to the hotel at 5pm to check in, my room was located on the 5th floor, more fully equipped than I thought and special as you can see the extremely beautiful view from here. I will write about the sunset and Hue city at night in the next post, hope you like it. See you soon!
I think the train from Danang to Hue is the best train trip in Vietnam because of the beautiful landscapes on the way there with mountains, tunnels and beaches. And I saw many beautiful photos of colorful incense village. I must visit it one day.
