THE SALMON FISH

MY WEEKEND EXPERIENCE

On Saturday at work our fish supplier supplied us with 3 huge fishes.
I have worked as a fish monger for a year and these fishes are literally the biggest and most expensive fishes I have ever seen, they are called "SALMON FISH".

Just one of the fishes weighed approximately 2.8 kilogram,
I was dumbfounded when I heard the price of the fishes, the price was enough to feed a community!!
I would definitely not spend that much on just fishes.

Salmon fish is very rich in vitamin D and phosphorous and it helps support heart health by reducing cholesterol and blood pressure.
It also a great source of protein that helps to build the body's muscle, bone and cartilage.
Unfortunately a common man can barely afford such an expensive fish, it is mostly sold in a five star restaurants.

The salmon fishes had a reddish orange flesh they had spots on their fins and back and a well developed teeth that is as sharp as a chainsaw, the unique feature about salmon fishes is they have 8 fins including the tail, the distinguish feature about Salmon fish is that they are anadromous in nature, meaning that they spend part of their life in fresh water streams and part of their lives in salty oceans

My last weekend was prolific because I got to see, touch and learn about the Salmon fish.
I strongly believe that you have learnt one thing or the other from my last weekend experience.

Have you seen a bigger fish?
