Hello Hivers! As time flies so fast and we are here again, spending holidays. I hope everyone is having a great time.
Since it's the weekend, another topic to be shared which I chose from Sir @galenkp questions from WE113.
The forever outfit
If you had to wear the same outfit every day for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why? Bonus points for showing us your photos wearing it.
We all know that women are into fashion. We love dressing up depending on the occasion to attend. Most of the time, it takes us hours to prepare as it is hard to decide on an outfit even though there are several choices. Not to mention spending time shopping. We don't just pick and buy easily, but if we could roam around the mall, we will. Sometimes even I got amazed as where I got the energy to walk and walk when I go shopping. Ladies, can you relate?
Oftentimes, I am into dresses into weekdays since we have a dress code at work, yet if given a chance to choose for outfit every day, I would go for "SHORTS and SNEAKERS." Any design will do.
Why?
I am not feminine as I grew up always tagging my brother until my teenage years. I imitated some of his gestures. In short, I was quite boyish. I only learned how to be ladylike when I was working and moved to the city.
Also, I feel I look better If I wear something with a length above my knee. I am not tall. Just standard height of Filipina, I guess; 5'1 in feet. Even long dresses doesn't suitable for me.
This is what I mean. I apologize for the blurred photo, I just got this in my phone's gallery, and I don't know why it looks like this.
Denim jeans were also my choice, but it was hot in summer since I live in a tropical country. I felt my sweat dripping on my legs.
So it is better to wear shorts as it fits in all season and is more comfortable. Just for me.
For example, going to the mall with this attire paired with sneakers.
Like a typical lady, I would roam around and check almost all the stores to find what to buy. Having this outfit was indeed hassle-free! My feet wouldn't ache.
Even when I go hiking, still I'm in my usual outfit—leggings in a "NO" for me. I felt uncomfortable. I am just extra careful not to have a scratch.
Disclaimer: I am not a mountaineer. Just mountains are good for beginners, so it is still okay to wear shorts.
I also remember we visited Baguio (the summer capital of the Philippines) last summer. The temperature in that place was cold, so some of the tourists were on their jeans or leggings. It doesn't bother me, though. I brought my jacket. Besides, I wanted to feel the COLDNESS. That natural one and not that came from air-conditioned.
I am just glad as fashion evolves now and wearing shorts is no longer a big deal. Unlike before, when I was still a teenager, shorts must always be below the knee. Or else others will stereotype me as something negative.
However, always make sure you are comfortable with whatever you wear.

Being comfortable is better than looking like a doll in a box. But that's just my opinion. It looks like a nice choice for a forever outfit.

Awiehhh bagay sayo mga outfit-an mo. Ako same kaso pang alis at pang bahay ko ee hahaha. And may fav din talaga ako na outfit yong black shirt ko from inspi ko na shirt na manipis kasi tela ee haha. Tas laging naka pair dun is ung short ko haha na above the knee haha
