Hello friends of WEEKEND EXPERIENCES, I want to share with all of you my weekend trip with friends and family. In the months of July and August in Cuba we have an intense summer and since we live on an island where very beautiful beaches abound, that is why we always plan on these dates to take a few days of beach and sun.
This weekend we went from Friday afternoon to Sunday to a place called Brisas del Mar, which is in the town of Habana de Este, here in the province of Havana, it is 2.1 km from the beach of Guanabo, right next to Venenciana, where there are large houses that are rented to stay in the place for several days. So we were very close to the beach and every so often we would take a dip.
It is a quite isolated place from the city and very few people live in the place, almost all who are there are vacationers. I like it a lot because it is a very quiet area, it has a natural environment, with lots of vegetation. The houses are far away, it is not a very crowded place, therefore it is a haven of tranquility, you do not feel the passing of cars and the beach is not very crowded because there are always few people in the place. My family and close friends whenever we want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find peace and quiet we head to Brisas del Mar.
The houses that are rented have very good comfort, most have a swimming pool, in addition to having the sea a few steps away. We almost always go to the same house because we already know the owner and she is in very good condition. Also, if we want, we cook our own food, sometimes the housekeeper prepares it for us or we order it from a nearby place that brings it to us with very good quality and hot, freshly made.
For more than 8 years we have always spent relaxing days at Brisas del Mar, we really like this place to spend it with families and friends in Havana but away from the daily hustle and bustle of this city.
On those days of total relaxation, we listen to music, we eat as a family all together, we play our favorite game "El Domino" my mom loves it and she always plays with the men and very rarely do they beat her, she's very good hahaha.
Walking on the beach with my son and his girlfriend is also very relaxing, although our sun is very strong, so it is preferable in the afternoon when the sun goes down.
The little ones are always looking for a space to get together and play with their phones haha, it's hard for them to get away from technology, with so much nature and the sea so close hahahaha.
Well friends, so far my weekend, very happy to spend it with friends and family, relaxed to start our urban routine, greetings to all, have a nice day, I'm sure we'll keep seeing each other to share new experiences. See you soon.

Sounds and looks like an oasis this place, Brisas del Mar, dear @lileisabel. And you have an incredible gem there, do you realize that? 😌 Again based on my experience with the coast in my country, there is hardly a place here where the beach is not occupied by a multitude of vacationers - local and foreign. That's why I avoid going there during the summer season.
Your gatherings with friends and relatives, an escape from everyday life in this wonderful place seem very harmonious and extremely pleasant. A joy for the eyes in every respect. 😊

Hello @soulsdetour , if I know what we have in that little corner so little visited, that's why we were so happy to go there, of the beaches of Havana it is the most distant and secluded, that's why it is not very crowded, also before this Santamaría del Mar, Boca Ciega and Guanabo, which are better quality beaches in terms of the finest sand and more shopping centers, but we do not change that for the tranquility of that beautiful place, thank you as always dear for your excellent appreciation👍🤗
