This #weekend-engagement although simple I love it and I am very happy to be able to share (invade) on your screens these beautiful images that particularly fascinated me.
It is always nice to be able to share and get together as a family; we almost always do it at home but this time the invitation came from my husband's aunt after gathering at our house for a refreshing soup on January 1st; as is customary to counteract the effect of the hangover and the late night.
The aunt told us that she was the winner of a raffle where the prize was a ram. As everyone knows this type of meat is a delicacy and she wanted to share some of it with us as it felt very good to say: "I am the owner of a ram" with laughter. So we arranged to go on Saturday afternoon and return on Sunday morning since her house is located in a rural area where transportation is usually a bit complicated after a certain hour so going and returning in one go is not a very good option even though we are basically 20 minutes away, we don't have a car.
After his invitation we realized that it was basically an adult sleepover since we were going to return to our homes the next day after breakfast.
My husband before we lived together always told me what his aunt's house was like, knowing my penchant for the eco-friendly: -you'll get a chance to go there sometime and you'll love it. Certainly I had already gone with him to his aunt's house but not calmly to take all the pictures I wanted and enjoy the environment as it is very nice, similar to a greenhouse.
In the afternoon when we arrived, we shared a few drinks with some friends of his uncles; also invited by them obviously. We had a very pleasant time with pleasant conversations. A game of dominoes was not to be missed and as it was very interesting, the food was left for the evening and as they are all lovers of things on the grill, they decided to cook part of the ram (the ribs) on the grill. Everything really tastes better this way.
The next morning, at breakfast as it is also tradition in their family some delicious stew empanadas while they were ready, I could not help but take full advantage of the sunlight and continue taking pictures of this beautiful space that transmits so much peace.
They showed us some pictures of the beginning of their home, so many memories and experiences, you realize that they have built everything with a lot of effort and keeping everything so nice is still a challenge for them, now that their children have become independent and live so far away. It was truly gratifying to live this experience.
