Some time ago, I think that because of my family's beliefs, especially my mother's, I gave a lot of importance to the dreams I had, I could spend days turning them over in my head to find or understand the meaning of each thing I dreamed. Some dreams came true, others did not. Today I feel that dreams are simply dreams. There is a part that may be true in them because they are formed due to the recurrence of your thoughts, becoming deep desires but other times they just don't make the slightest sense.
A week ago I dreamt that I had a tooth pulled out and I saw my blood in addition to all the ugliness of how the space where the tooth was and when I woke up I was very startled, not so much because of the gory dream itself, but because of what it means in popular culture, which indicates that someone is going to die, either someone I know or a family member. Thank God this did not happen, but little by little I have stopped giving importance to my dreams.
They also say that the current culture leads women to see other women with desire, for example; it is possible that this is so. I consider myself 100% heterosexual, but what makes me have encounters (even short ones) with other women in my dreams? Is there an "other me" that desires it deep down? I really don't think so. This has only happened on like two occasions but it's very strange. So I don't see it as something transcendental in my life, because I've never even been curious enough to look into it.
Our brain is amazing and can generate conflicts quickly but also give possible solutions.
