Good Day to all of you my dear co-Hivers!Please allow me to extend my deepest gratitude for all your support and for spending time reading my blog.
This time, I want to share with you our experience during our breakfast buffet at Big Hotel and our quick tour at Parkmall Mandaue, Cebu.
It was stated in my last blog that RAFI provided us with 1 room at the Big Hotel for we were invited to attend the RAFI Partners' Night since our school is one of the recipient schools for the Basa-Thon Project.
The RAFI chose one parent of Basa-Thon Learners for the Dev Talk. The night after the program, we were sent back to the Big Hotel by their pick-up car.
We had a nice sleep in a very cool and comfortable room.
The following day, was Saturday. Oh! It's a very nice day. I woke up 7:00 a.m.We don't notice the time if we don't see our watches since the room has a dim light.
Ma'am Analyn my parent partner was the first who took a bath, then it was followed by me and the last was my co-school head.
I felt so fresh after taking a bath. After changing our clothes, we proceeded to the dining area. It was already 8:10 a.m.
Since only 2 persons reserved for free at breakfast, my co-school head paid for her breakfast.

She pays for Php 350.00. The schedule for breakfast buffet is 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The dining area was so attractive with a decorative Christmas Tree. The atmosphere showed the spirit of Christmas. It adds as an appetizer for our breakfast.
What Food We Eat
Of course, the breakfast menu is not complete without the presence of hot coffee. What's funny there, we tasted all the food displayed,hehehe. The food tasted good. It was delicious. Imagine, we stayed there for more than an hour, hahaha! Who can say that we were not full at that moment?
If I'm going to rate their breakfast buffet, I'll rate it very satisfactory. It was a delightful and remarkable breakfast buffet.
Anyway, we wait for the Parkmall to open since it is scheduled to open at 10:00 a.m.So, we stayed longer in the dining room.
Around 9:30 a.m. we decided to transfer to the lobby area.
While waiting for the mall to open we decided to take pictures.

Time, check, it's already 10:00 a.m.We hurriedly went to the mall. I'd like to buy socks for my kids, there.
Upon entering the entrance, a bread shop caught my attention. The bread and cakes looked so delicious.

We planned to buy bread but because we were running out of time we weren't able to buy it.
Beside the Bakery, the Wine and Liquor stole my attention. Different wines and liquor are displayed on the shelves.

We proceeded to the Department Store to buy socks for my kids.

I was able to buy 2 sets of socks with 3 pairs amounting to Php 180.00 each set. The socks I bought were somewhat expensive but of good quality.
It happened that we passed the gift items. I was so amazed by the attractive and artistic items.

We caught a glimpse of those items since we were hurrying. We need to go back to our room because we have to check out at exactly 12:00n.n.
It was 11:30 a.m. already. We have 30 minutes remaining time.

It was an admirable park. So clean with an attractive landscaped garden.But we don't stay there longer for we need to go out quickly.
We went outside the mall and decided to buy food for our lunch. We agreed to take out our order from Chowking and ate our lunch inside our room.

It was 11:45 when we reached our room. we quickly ate our lunch and then packed up everything to check out.
At exactly 12:00 n.n. we surrendered our key to the reception area. The Hotel Staff checked everything in the room, and we waited for 5 minutes until they allowed us to go out.
Reflection
It was indeed, a remarkable experience staying at Big Hotel with an inclusive breakfast buffet. Their staff is so accommodating.
The Big Hotel is nearer to the mall so it is easier for us to go shopping. No need to ride for it's a walking distance. You can reach the mall in a 2 or 3-minute walk.
Fast foods are also nearby like Jollibee, Chowking, and many others. Atm machines are also nearby so nothing to worry about if you are out of cash.
So grateful to the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) for the great opportunity given to us.
