A pleasant day, dear friends of Hive! It is a bit rainy here in our place since yesterday. This weather is so nice when you're indoors, but not so well outdoors. Anyway, what I am sharing with you today is something about my experience yesterday - a walk on the wet cobblestoned street of Crisologo.

Today, I want to write it in a poetic way so expect that what you will read next was written in stanzas with four lines each. It was challenging to make the ending words rhyme, but I'm glad it did. Without further ado, enjoy reading!

I was walking on Calle Crisologo
A place known for its cobblestoned lane
I just aimed to take one photo
But then its captivating charm began to reign.

With each step I took, it was as if the cobblestones whispered
The stories of the past and the history itself shimmered
Every corner held secrets untold as I continued the walk
Intriguing statements about the past waiting to unfold.

I can't smell the usual aroma of coffee lingering around
There I found the door close, with no signs of opening today
There's a power interruption, now I understand
It's more sadder when the power generator can't be found.

As I looked above, the sky came into view
The once bright blue took on a gloomy hue,
Gone was the warmth that had pervaded the air,
Replaced by a cold breeze that danced in the air.

It felt as if a deception on this sunny day
With skies so bright, a tricky display
It's bad, it turned gray
I didn't bring an umbrella, I stand in dismay.

It is really fascinating when the words you weave together rhyme. It sounds fun and creative at the same time-something I wanted to feel for so long because it's been a while since I make one.

I don't know but the above paragraph somehow rhymes, right? Anyway, it was just incidental in that case since I only aimed to make four stanzas.

By the way, although the street was wet, it wasn't slippery since the street was a bit rough. Still, extra care was taken to ensure that no harm shall be done. Just in case you wish to visit Vigan anytime soon, do not forget to bring with you an umbrella. But anyway, if you want to take some pictures of you in the Calle Crisologo while raining, it may have a dramatic view.

I think that is all for this brief post for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this one. Have a great day everyone, take care!

LEO Power Up Day - July 15, 2023

Every time I read and look at your blog post, it feels like you've taken me to Calle Crisologo as well. It's one of the places I really want to visit in Ilocos. It must be beautiful, especially at night when the weather isn't gloomy.😁
