Hey, Hivers! @makiyumee here and I am back with a new blog and a new story to share, so sit back and relax as we go on with today's entry.
It was a bright Saturday afternoon when Mama and I decided to go on a little trip to Bogo. We brought along our energetic and cute little dog, Panit, who was wagging her tail non-stop because of excitement. The sun was at its peak and we were waiting for a tricycle beside the road but despite this, Panit was still moving around and jumping as she waited with us.
Mama had some errands to take care of in Bogo and so, I thought it would be a good idea for me to come along with her. I had spent the whole morning working hard on my school tasks. I sat in front of my laptop and went through notebooks. I felt like I really deserve a break. It seemed like the perfect chance to relax a bit and spend some time with Mama and our playful puppy, Panit.
When we arrived at Bogo, Mama immediately headed to Palawan Pawnshop to do her errands while me and Panit decided to spend some time looking around the area. We strolled along the hallway and pathways, taking in the sights and sounds around us. I held Panit's leash as we walked around and played a little. I just watched her as she moved around sniffing and exploring the whole place. We took our time, making every moment worthwhile. The area was busy with activity, and we felt like we were part of it all even if just for a little while. It was a simple yet perfect way to spend our time together.
Panit was full of energy as she ran around and happily discovering everything that was interesting for her. I followed her closely, always watching to make sure that she was safe. Some places had bumpy grounds or crowded paths, so I had to carefully guide her away from those areas and allow her to have fun while keeping her protected.
Stray dogs would occasionally come close to us and sniff Panit with interest. I felt a bit anxious each time because I want to protect Panit while Mama was doing her errands. Some of those stray dogs were much larger than her and I was worried that she might get scared or even catch fleas from them. To keep her safe, I would swiftly lift her up and hold her tightly when there were strays dogs close by.
Panit appeared completely relaxed. She would wag her tail while I held her, noticing some fun things in her eyes like bright posters on the walls of the building or the people that walk by. I spoke to her softly, reminding her to be careful around the stray dogs but I also assured her that that once those stray dogs were out of sight, I would let her run around freely again. Once it was safe, I put Panit back down and chuckled as she dashed away, her little feet racing. I couldn't help but grin as I chased after her while feeling a mix of exhaustion and joy.
After a little while, Mama came to find us, a warm smile on her face as she said that she had finished all her errands at Palawan Pawnshop. She reached out for Panit and I carefully handed her over while feeling grateful that I finally got the moment to rest my arms. Panit was a little heavy puppy and carrying her around a lot strained my arms but since she was adorable, everything was fine. As Mama held Panit close, I told her that I wanted to buy some frozen yoghurt and she nods, telling me to go ahead.
I stepped inside Rocco, a little shop that sells frozen yoghurt and other snacks beside Palawan Pawnshop. The cool air welcomed me and I immediately saw the colorful flavors and a wide variety of snacks sold on their menu behind the counter. I felt a rush of excitement since it had been a while when I last enjoyed some frozen yoghurt.
I approached the counter and asked the woman there for a small cup since I couldn't finish a large one. She smiled warmly and swirled the creamy yoghurt into a tidy shape. I also told her to add some cute little marshmallows on top and she happily placed some before passing my order to me. I looked at my order and I couldn't help but admire the colors of the marshmallow as it made the yoghurt even tastier.
I gave my payment to the cashier behind the glass counter and then expressed my gratitude to her. As I held the cup, I felt the chill touch my fingers, but it only made me want to taste it more. I glanced back and noticed Mama outside who was speaking gently to panit as if our puppy was a child. Realizing that they were waiting for me, I quickly made my way back to them, already sensing the day's sweetness in many ways.
That would be all for today's blog! I hope you all had fun reading it and I will see you all on the next one!
