Week 234: luck or effort? // Welcome December in weekendexperiences 🥰❤️🎄

WELCOME DECEMBER, LOVE, SUCCESS AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL AT HIVE AND WEEKENDEXPERIENCES🎄❤️

Let's enjoy this last month of 2024 and of course continue sharing in this beloved community. Here is my participation this weekend:

Do you believe in luck or do you believe hard work and preparation creates "luck"? Explain

This answer is a bit complicated, in my opinion both go hand in hand, it can also vary a lot and from what I have seen, experienced or known, I think they go hand in hand, 50% for luck and the other 50% for preparation and hard work, I will explain my point of view:

I have known people who have been extremely lucky, for example, to get a good job, but if this person does not look for a way to prepare themselves through studies and improve even more in that job, this luck will not last very long. There will always be people who are more active and want to outdo others and this is a disadvantage for the person who was lucky enough to get a good job.

On the other hand, there are those people who first dedicate themselves to preparing themselves through studies and then look for a way to emerge with their knowledge. In this case, luck is something important because just as there are people who succeed in their professions, I have also known of many people who have studied everything and simply cannot get ahead. In my country you can see lawyers selling trinkets on the streets, or teachers selling things in their homes in order to survive.

But that is where we start to think why that lawyer did not succeed in his profession? or that teacher did not emerge with his knowledge? a few days ago I spoke with a Professor friend and he told me that in his life he has been very lucky, that for his age (he estimated about 60 years), he still has very good jobs and with this he manages to generate quite a bit of profit, he was explaining to me that in the mornings he teaches classes at an institute, when he gets home he gives online classes, he also gives courses and personalized directed tasks, so one has to think: was this Professor's luck magical or was it due to his effort? in my opinion they are hand in hand and are the fruits of his hard work.

Another great example is that of an aunt, she and her first husband studied accounting, both graduated in the same year, my aunt always looked for opportunities on the street unlike her husband who always stayed at home waiting for luck that never came to him, currently my aunt is a little over 60 years old and still practices her profession with great success, she has always been an active woman and has always gone out on the street to try her luck, unlike her first husband who currently seems homeless since he never managed to practice his profession and is practically on the street.

So that's where we start to think: does luck come to us on its own or should we go out and look for it? In my opinion it's better to go out and look for it since it will be difficult for it to come on its own, it's something like they paint it in the movies, a great example is the movie "Pretty Woman", she somehow went out on the street to look for her luck and somehow she got it, then little by little with the help of this millionaire man she overcame herself to fit into that demanding society, she being a woman of life runs with a stroke of luck and manages to obtain an incredible improvement for her life by meeting a millionaire man, (when will that millionaire man come for me? I don't want to work what she did 🤭😂)

So luck can open unexpected doors, present unique opportunities, and sometimes just make things work in our favor. However, it is important to understand that luck is not something you can choose and that is why we must also strive to prepare ourselves and work hard on our knowledge.

On the other hand, hard work and preparation are the foundations on which success is built. By making an effort, acquiring knowledge and skills, and preparing ourselves to face challenges, we significantly increase our chances of taking advantage of the opportunities that are presented to us.

So what is the key? I believe that both go hand in hand since most of the time luck favors the prepared, that is, those who have worked hard to be in the right place at the right time, but it can also happen the other way around and if you do not take advantage of the opportunity that is presented to you, this luck will simply disappear.

I think we think the same. I'm also 50% 50% on this. Glad to see that I'm not alone!

Your aunt is a strong lady and so unlucky she such a lazy husband

It's good that we think the same 😊

Well, with respect to my aunt, luckily she has already separated from her ex-husband, it wasn't fair that she was trying so hard and he wasn't.

Thank you very much for commenting, friend 🥰
