Hello, everyone! Here I am again for a new blog drop. I can't believe it's already March, how time went by this fast? Anyway, how does March appear to all of you? I hope it's still giving you the positive energy to do better and continue what you are working on. By the way, the blog that I am going to share today is about our recent weekend experience at Poblacion, Talisay City, Cebu. Should we get started?

It was a fine Sunday afternoon when me and my mom decided to go to Poblacion. We rarely go to this place, so this time we just gave it a go. Talking about the fare, it doesn't break the bank guys. But at the end of the day, it's the experience we get that truly matters, fare expenses are just an icing on the cake.

And just like that, we arrived at our destination. We were initially planning to go to Larawan Beach first but we got a little bit lost. We didn't know which way we should go. Gladly, we summoned up the courage to ask some of the locals and they were happy to help. A big thanks to them!

We found this area which features the monument of the historical Douglas McArthur. For context, Douglas MacArthur is an American Military Leader and famous for his declaration " I shall return " after leaving the Philippines during World War II.

Here we are, enjoying the view. It feels so good to have inhaled the sea breeze again and fed our eyes with the best scenery. While we were here, I felt dejavu. I missed my province life. We have this kind of view too, but we call it boulevard. Strolling and talking with friends about life were my routine before when I was in the province.

In the surrounding area, is the Poblacion Plaza. Plaza goers can be seen around and it surprised me that they had free movie viewing. I forgot the title of the movie but I guess it's nice. A lot of people were also so focused on watching, probably they know.
While roaming around, my mom and I got a little bit hungry so why not grab some food? My mom bought some sweet food, she likes sweets though. On the other hand, I opted for an ice-cream and tempura. Mind you, it took us some time to finally get our food as many customers were also lining up to buy. So, patience is always our thing. After securing our food, we sat on one of the benches and chilled a bit.

Since it's almost 5:30 pm, we decided to have our early dinner at one of the barbeque restaurants in the place. We ordered pork and chorizo. We also wanted to add some grilled fish but we're not sure if our stomach could still handle it. I really love the place, aside from dining in by the beach, their staff are also very accommodating. The volume of customers speaks for itself. A 10/10 for me.

Me and my mom enjoyed our short visit at Poblacion, Talisay City, Cebu. I know you guys also have your respective plaza in each of your places, you might as well visit it. We may not have the same experience, but I'm sure it also has prepared unique experience for the locals to enjoy. They will never fail you!
Truly, Poblacion, Talisay City, Cebu never failed me. I'm really looking forward visit it soon.

The view was nice indeed. I did learn something about "Douglas MacArthur." I guess I'll do some reading on him.

Superrrr delicious @queeniemary . I wouldn't mind consuming more cups of rice because of it.

It's been a long time since my visit to the beach. 😭😭 I really need some vitamin sea right now.

This is your sign @jeannmazing ! The beach is waiting for you. 🤗
