Greetings to everyone in this community and and happy weekend to you all. Thanks @galenkp for this weekend engagement. I most commend your efforts in making every weekend worthwhile. Thanks for making every weekend a beautiful one with amazing topics to keep members engaged. I will be writing on this topic below:
Assuming you had to choose between the following three ways of dying...Would you rather get eaten by a shark, fall out of a plane without a parachute, or trampled by a herd of elephants?
Choosing between the following is terrifying as we humans possess feeling, emotions and consciousness. The scenario of dying in any of the aforementioned ways can be frightening. Choosing between any of these ways of dying is a very hard decision to make .
Considering these questions critically, choosing between getting eaten by a shark, falling out of a plane without a parachute, or being trampled by a herd of elephants? Going for one of the three, I will go with falling out of a plane without a parachute.
COMPARING THE THREE
BEING EATEN BY A SHARK ?
Looking at being eaten by a shark for example. That will be a chronic encounter. We all know how sharp the teeth of a shark is which can tear apart human flesh and bones. In some cases, when a shark attacks a human, it can lead to massive blood loss and severe pain which one doesn't die instantly leading to excruciating pain before death.
Also, once a shark has been able to attack, there will be no room to escape since one has been torn apart.
In addition, if one is able to escape the shark, the possibility of drowning in the ocean is 100% as one will be going through lots of pain due to the injury sustained and the blood loss which will lead to inability to swim. Also, being an ocean, the possibility of salty water entering the injuries will make the pain unbearable. All these will make it indeed a painful way to die.
BEING TRAMPLED BY A HERD OF ELEPHANTS?
Then, being trampled by a herd of elephants is also an unimaginable way to die. We know elephants to be the fattest animal on land. The size of an elephant is terrifying, let alone being caught up under the size of an elephant herd. This process of dying comes with trauma, agony, fear and distress.
FALLING OUT OF A PLANE WITHOUT PARACHUTE IS PREFERABLE
Lastly, falling out of a plane without a parachute is terrifying no doubt but at the same time I would prefer that to other ways. One reason is that it is quick and painless. It comes with a rush of excitement. Have you experienced jumping from a high place, the fresh breeze that accompanies it with your hair flying and dressing flying up. Same goes with falling out of a plane without a parachute.
Although it comes with a period of shock before one finally loses consciousness. This way of dying is easy because one dies even before hitting the ground. It is true that knowing that you are falling off a plane without a parachute will send cold air to one's blood stream even before the fall but the actual death would be quick and painless.
CONCLUSION
Finally, Life is full of uncertainties and death is inevitable. It is always good that one makes every moment worthwhile while he or she is still breathing. However, if I had to choose from the given instances, I would prefer falling out of a plane without a parachute as the least painful way to die. For me, among the three ways of dying, that is the easiest and painless way to die among the other two.
I AM @marynn,
THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG AND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS POST TILL THE END.
Death is inevitable and the thoughts of it alone sends cold through my veins.
The options are very difficult and I can't imagine myself doing any of them easily. A shark won't spare a human after biting and the taste of blood will attract other wild fishes.
Elephant is a no go area and jumping from the airplane should do. I have a phobia for height and I might probably die out of fear.
Have you thought of landing into water after jumping from that height? Still a feast for sharks.. Lol
The thing with jumping from that height is that you can't breath due to low oxygen which will lead to one's death even before getting into the water. Also, if one jump from that height, the person will end inside the bottom of the water because of the speed that comes with the fall. It is still the easiest among the other two.
It'd be a good view on the way down huh?
Opportunity to see the world map. 😆😆
Indeed, for a short while at least.
For sure! No one can escape death, we live with it and everyone must die one day. In as much as we have live within us, we should rather appreciate that. Thanks for your effort.
