Greetings to you my dear hivers! Have you been well? I'm sorry if this is a little late, but how did you spend Easter Sunday? As for us, we did not eat pork during the holy week and ate less food than normal, and we went out to dinner with family for Easter Sunday last Sunday.
When my uncle and cousin came to visit us at home for lunch, we were casually talking when one of my aunts called and said she'd treat us to dinner later.
My aunt decided we'd have dinner at Parilya Restaurant, situated at the City di Mare Visitor Center, IL Corso, Cebu South Coastal Rd. On our way to the restaurant, we saw this handcrafted ship that said "Easter Hooray." I told my mom and dad I'd take a photo of them, but they were too shy to do so. There were actually many people in the area at that time.
Because we were walking alongside the sea, we felt a cool breeze. There's also a boardwalk and, I believe, a mini-pool on each side. It appears to be charming, and the tranquil atmosphere is ideal for family and friends.
I successfully persuaded mum to take a picture there, or should I say, dragged her there and forced her to strike a pose. After I snapped that image, she seemed to like it. Il Corso is a 10-hectare outdoor and seaside shopping center. There is also a food yard in front of the parking space, with numerous stalls from which to choose; you will never go hungry there. The Parilya restaurant is located next to the mall.
This lighthouse is located next to the Parilya restaurant, and it is my first time seeing one. I was enthralled and wanted to see what it looked like up there the next time.
I can tell that we enjoy dining by the sea, and I am completely enamored with the sky's hue every 5 to 6 p.m.
My aunt had made a reservation because this restaurant is typically filled with people. In fact, there was a long queue when we arrived. This is my first time eating here, so I'm curious as to why people like it so much. The menu was handed to us.
Their plates and bowls were plastic-wrapped, and the utensils were tissue-wrapped.
Aside from the fact that it's by the sea, I'm sure the restaurant's aesthetic, from the color palette to the lighting, is one of the reasons why people like it here.
I also admire their restroom design. It gave me the impression that I was actually on a beach.
Here are some of the dishes we ordered. I was unable to photograph all of them due to my hunger, first is the binalot, which is rice wrapped in banana leaves, second, we were given a comped dish called crispy crablets, which are crispy baby crabs, we also had baked scallops, seafood kare-kare, pork bbq, and pancit canton.
And, of course, the family photo is here. I was already full at the time this photo was taken, and I can see why they keep coming back. They serve tasty food.
When we left the restaurant, it was late, the breeze was cooler than it had been earlier, and the moon was shining brightly.
I was confused as to why I wore a tight dress when I knew we would have to eat and I wouldn't be able to take any close-up shots because my stomach was full.
The light from the newly built Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway could be seen from afar as you walked back to the parking area.
That's how I spent my Easter Sunday. What do you think? Comment down below! Thank you for stopping by. See you in my next post.

That lighthouse looks so cool, hehe well you wore your tight dress to look pretty hehe without realising that the food would be so lami and make you eat so much🤣
I love seafood and I am so envious hehe
What a wonderful way to spend your Easter.
Have a wonderful weekend 😃Hi @melria06
Thank you! Yes, the light house looks so much better in person. I forgot that I might eat a lot and wore a tight dress that made me uncomfortable after eating😅
oh wow I thought the lighthouse looked cool in the pictures. Which reminds me I need to go to the smallest working lighthouse in the world. It is maybe 30 minutes from me!
Well you did look pretty in your dress, so all worth it :)
