Hi everyone, as always @galenkp has some really interesting themes in his #weekend-engangement! Either something to tell about or also something to think about! Either way, I really love taking part into this weekly contest!
The choice came down to Money or Love and well it's a controversial decision, that even Hamlet would find it difficult to decide.
Anyway, my idea is quite clear and without any doubt I choose Love.
And for a decent number of reasons: love is energy, love is life, love, in one word is Everything; that everything is achieved when you have a certain love for yourself, you respect yourself.
Of course, there can't be only self-love, then it becomes selfishness!
I choose Love because money doesn't complete you as a person, it gives you a social positioning, not a personal one.
With money you can buy an enormity of things, from power to material things, but love, the real one, the one that fills you, the one that makes you feel free, no, you can't buy that.
That one you have to seek, build, chase: what I did with Mary.
A careful person might say the same thing happens with money, but @Galenkp's topic is crystal clear: it asks if you want to find love or have $200,000 in cash; so it doesn't tell you if you prefer to build a social identity, but only if you want mere money.
As you know, last year I got married to Mary (@healthmary) and the decision came after an inner growth due to a series of challenges, fights with the ego and several paths that gave me the tools to get a decision.

Now I will explain why no to money.
Money comes in, goes out, rises, falls. Money can be considered energy; therefore like all energy in the world it is not created, but transformed!
My nature leads me to be a volcano of ideas, in fact I came up with a varied series of fundraisers for wheelchair basketball associations (this weekend we were having the final phase of the national championships, and soon I will write an article about how it went and the emotions that followed!) first of all the homemade beer, charity t-shirts, lotteries and so on.
Meaning that Love, can also be intended as far different from "relationship love" and it also represents a huge emotion towards something we truly care.
I don't need to have $200,000 right away, not because I'm a snooty, cocky guy (maybe in my whole life I'll never see that kind of money together) but I can build it up as I have the possibilities like everyone else.
I probably risk a little more or I have a firm vision of what the goal is.
We can all succeed in having both, both love and money, because one does not exclude the other; it's a matter of having a healthy balance between the two.

One more thing: true love does not necessarily means getting married. I used marriage as an example as I had restrains about it for several years and then I got peace with it.
