I think I'd love to skip these tasks too, once I have the choice.
I think many cultures emphasise cleaning on the weekend - Saturday morning and then going to Church on Sundays. I do not of the above:)

Yeah, that's true we are so used to the cleaning culture that we just pile up chores till Saturday and end up working from morning till evening.
I was doing it before but I had to look for a way to feel less stress hence I spread the chores throughout the week.
