Planting is one of the things that most of us women have been part of our lives. It may be ornamental, flowering plants, or vegetables. Each of us has our reason why we plant. For me, that feeling of success, especially when the one I planted did grow.
Hello, my dear friends in the Hive world here I am again after a long time. Hope all is well and please stay with me as I will share another fulfilling weekend experience I had. The day of transferring and planting my young "Palmera" plants.
It was a stress-relieving and fulfilling Saturday, despite the busy day, I had the chance to visit my ornamental plants and say hi 😂 and had a different kind of bonding with my Dadyluvz.
I had these beautiful Palmera plants which I used to put as a decoration inside and outside our church. Supposedly, there are five of them but the other two were stolen just a week ago. So, I decided to separate the newly grown ones into another pot to make more of them. Thanks to Daddy, my helping buddy for the hand.
First, we prepared soil to be used in each of the pots. I brought 3 plastic bags of animal manure which I mixed with the soil from our backyard.
Thanks to this handsome man for the help in mixing the soil.
Losen up the soil inside the pot of the planted Palmera to make it easier to pull out the whole roots of it because I have to make sure that the roots will never be cut out from the plants.
When the soil was loosened, I carefully pulled out the whole plant from the pot, making sure that no stem would break.
Perfectly pulled out the whole plant without damaging the roots.
Divided it into two to three groups and carefully cut each group of stems with roots using the dagger. There should be roots in each group of stems.
Then put each group of stems in a new pot and add the mixed soil to it until it fills the neck of the pot.
To make sure there was enough soil on each new pot with plants, I pressed the soil down to fill to space inside it the added more soil and animal manure on the top. I needed more soil, so more mixing did Daddy do 😜.
T'was like doing exercise because our sweat was flowing heavily, especially my husband's. I am getting fatter that is why it is hard for me to squat because of my belly 😭. But it's okay. A little sacrifice for my plants and just grabbing the chance of having a time For it. For sure the next few days I will be busy again.
What a success! From three pots, we made it to nine pots after. I am so happy looking at these beautiful plants. Hopefully, no one will die and each will bloom so that one day we can make new plants out of it again and multiply the beauty they bring to our surroundings.
Like these plants, may the beauty within us never die but grow and multiply by passing it forward to others.
Thank you once again for the time spent with me. Until next time. With love, mommyjane 😘.
The resulting plants are beautiful!😍
This is wonderful Mommyjane. You are hardworking and caring.
May your plants grow to multiply.
Hopefully it will and I can make more out of it.Thank you so much @phyna.
You guys really did some work there. I wonder who steals plants though😀
The plants are beautiful and I hope they bloom more and more.
Kudos!
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Our neighborhood is a distance from our house. But no wonder, we have experienced being entered by a thief years ago. Thank God only a few coins were lost from us.Thank you @supernova004.
Kudos to the effort you exerted ma’am @mommyjane ! These plants will bring more beautification in your backyard. What a productive day you had there!☺︎♡
