RE: Weekend-Engagement: What am I most Proud of?

I think it was quite an undertaking and yu have a lot to be proud of. Moving wihtin one's country is already a lot - so moving abroad and twice is an accomplishment. I have move around a bit but so far not with kids - so I cannot even imagine it.

I can imagine that Mexico is different but exciting as well. I think I would like living there. For me it is a dream though. I hope you are enjoying live there and have settlked in nicely.

Sort:

It is an exciting place, that's for sure. And we've only ever been here in Quintana Roo and Acapulco! So much to explore still, and already never a dull day haha.

I think I would like living there. For me it is a dream though.

My dream was to move the family to SE Asia, and those plans were changed when the p(l)andemic came around. Mexico became the new dream and it still feels like I'm dreaming now sometimes. It feels surreal to actually be here.
I count my blessings every day!

I can imagine that SE Asia was a good option. However Mexico now seems to be the most relaxed place to be while our world is in this current state(sigh). I have been there twice but it was 2 long weekends for visa purposes.
Yes - you are blessed.

Yeah, Mexico is definitely one of the most relaxed countries. There are a few others, like Nicaragua, and El Salvador seems to be OK.
Tanzania used to be, until the president 'died'...

Haha, I used to do the Tijuana/San Diego border run to extend my visa for the US as well!
Every 3 months I traveled down for that.

Yes - you are right. Aww I made a trip to Cuba via Mexico from the US.
