We live in a fast world where we don't have much time to enjoy life in general (at least people in my enviroment and me), and it's very important to chose wisely how to spend the free time that we have. After week of work most people are exausted and just want to have a day or two off to relax and get more energy for the new work week. But it is very important not to lose human touch and spend quality time with friends and family.
Last year I moved back to my hometown and I tought this will help me have more time to spend with friends and family from here, who we usually saw only every two or tree weekends, or more rare. But turnes out, even though I am here now every weekend, we somehow see eachother less often. Either they have some event for that weekend, or we do, either weather is bad to go somewhere, or someone is sick. During week is still the same as like I am not here, because everyone has work, different shifts, some have kids, or other obligations.
So for this year, I would like to START taking every opportunity I have to spend time with friends or extended family, that I usually don't see as oftern, and have good time, prferly in the nature.
This is why we have chosen to cook stew in a caludron outside, although weather wasn't perfect. It was sunny and that was nice, but temperatures go really low in the nights these days, so during day it's less then 10C. But it would be okay, only if there wasn't a wind, which we rarly have, that made it seem colder. But luckly, wind wasn't constant, so we had couple of hours or nice time outside, enjoying sun and nature, and later the good meal.
Spending time in nature is traveling is what I would really like to do more this year. And stop using my phone as much. I get myself taking phone to get relaxed for some time, and then reading many bad news which get stuck in my head for so long and make me feel bad. And then I tend to get myself distracted from that with watching other things online, and again, spedning more time online then needed. All in all it just becomes wasted time, that I can't get back, and I would really like to STOP wasing as much time on it.
What I will for sure KEEP doing is take endless photos. No matter are they good or not, no matter do I post them or not, no matter to I print them or delete, this is something I really enjoy doing for so long now.
This is my entry for #weekend-engagement by @galenkp topic: "What would you like to START, STOP and KEEP in your life this year?"

Ah me too - i also said less time online! AND a big, big yes to nature - I'm not sure how i can spend MORE time in it than I do, but I sure enjoy it.
Placing a timer onto online activities an excellent way to start experiencing the real world outdoors, too many allow life to slip past while behind the screen being sucked in.
