Growing up as a child, I always saw my parents doing one local thing. It looks so small, but inside of it, you can save money, and there was another one that was made with cement and muddy. As a child, I did not know what all these meant, but then I did see my parents saving money inside, and it's not easy to remove them until it is full or you need it so badly. I grew up in a family that knew how to save money and create a good budget. My parents will always tell me I better save money now because it will save me later. Since those were the days when technology was not really appreciated the way it is now, my parents still find a way to create a budget by knowing their income, what to spend, when to spend it, and how to spend it. Sometimes if I ask my parents for a certain amount of money, they will give it to me, and sometimes they will not give it to me; instead, they will say it's not part of our budget. You will understand this if you are in a family like that. All this looked like a joke to me until I became an adult and started living alone.
To be successful in life, there are some things that you need to put in place. Tracking your budget is one of them. There are lots of people who have money but still find themselves very broke because they do not track their budget. The fact is that no matter how rich you can be, if you refuse to track your budget, then you don't really understand what we call financial literacy.
I realized that to stay away from being broke, one should have a proper budget, so you will be able to track all your expenses. Well, this is how I track mine.
Create a budget. This is how you will be able to know what is going out, what is coming in, and what is left. After creating a budget, you need to know what is coming in before you know what to spend it on.
Income: Knowing your income is very important. When you know your income, you will know what to spend.
Your expenses are also very important. It is good to write your expenses down; then you will know if you should get them all or not. There are some expenses that we can forgo if our income is not enough to cover them.
Lastly, you need to have savings. Savings are what will help you. In case things go bad, one of the savings that is very important is emergency funds. This particular saving is very important.
Apart from all this, there are apps that can also allow one to create a successful budget; one just needs to find a way that will benefit him on how to create a good budget.
