I miss walking at the shore every afternoon alone. The view along and together with people, it made my silhouette day colorful like the sunset. I never get tired of doing so despite the kind of life I’m having, like too many worries need solutions. The sound of an afternoon bird, the children shouting while playing and the calming scenery brings the sea. It was too good to be true that even in the hardest time of my life I found joy in my heart.
Some things in life are necessary and some are not. Sleepers, it’s protecting our feet from injury or wounds we might step on. Although that time was different. I walked into the sea barefooted. I wanted to feel everything under my feet, the seawater, the sand, etc. It gave me a wonderful feeling that kept me going.
There were children eating along the sea where there was a single living rock rising above sea level because it was low tide. Adults or children, you can find them at the sea in our Brgy. because when it’s low tide there are many types of seafood you can find. One of them is the sea urchin that's easy to find. Even the children know how to find them by learning from the adults or maybe parents.
I was walking towards them but I was too late to record them eating since they were almost finished. When I was with them they were already leaving and some were cleaning the utensils they brought like plates, spoons, knives and tupperware. They brought boiled rice to eat with sea urchins, of course, a knife is necessary to cut a sea urchin where the meat inside can be found.
They were afraid of the camera, maybe they were just shy. They were leaving immediately as soon as I arrived. Well, it’s normal if you’ll be in the province, not that I'm an exception. lol,
You can see how beautiful it was, the sea and the sunset. It was very lovely that for sure someone would love to go sightseeing. Who wouldn’t love it anyway? Just as I said, it was just an ordinary afternoon but ended up a special one because of the beautiful scenery and the beautiful people. This is why I never get tired of spending time alone at the shore, not just in the afternoon but can be anytime.
