Oh man, I missed this one, but I'll comment anyway. It just occured me that one hell of a life-saving invention has got to be the fridge. Can you imagine the amount of food that would go to waste without modern fridges? Or having to eat salty meat all-the-time. Beer is always cold. Food is fresh for longer periods. There's ice for the lemonade. Ice cream. I go with the fridge.

Refrigeration is an amazing invention and it boggles the mind to think about what life would be like without it. Agile all those cold things we take for granted, the way we'd need to plan ahead for warmer months, food prep and all. Great call on this one!
