The Silent Patient by the writer Alex Michaelides born in Cyprus and who is a graduate in English literature and psychotherapy brings us this book full of suspense, psychology and secrets.Hello friends of the Weekend-experiences community I hope you are well today. Today I want to join the proposal of @galenkp in the WEEK #241 to tell you about the book that I have been reading with a lot of curiosity especially because it is about psychology and the mind of people, in this book called

I found the book in a place where you can read it for free and the name of the book caught my attention, from the name I knew it was going to be about a psychiatric patient but I wanted to know more about why this patient ended up in a psychiatric as well as what I could read in the first pages and that is that she supposedly committed a crime, not only was it a crime but she "killed" her beloved husband, everyone saw them as the perfect couple, she a woman full of love for art and paintings and the husband as a man who loved her unconditionally or so it seemed.

I have 150 pages of 900 pages, this worries me a little because lately I had not read a book so long and that was a little complicated to read in the sense that you have to tie many ends to know everything about the life of this woman or as the writer titled it: *The Silent Patient *. But despite knowing that I have a lot to read I am still excited by the idea and the way the story is progressing, the writer in this book which is the only one I know of his authorship stands out for keeping that excitement and tension from the first pages and it is something that makes me want to read it completely.

The Silent Patient is a woman who may have a lot to tell but for some reason does not dare to speak after the death of her husband and being accused as the first one implicated in the case, maybe it was someone else or if it was her she may have had some strong reason to end the life of the man who according to her loved her beyond measure and she was just like him. I feel the story is very good and this theme of the psychological within the story makes me even more interested, plus the other main character is a man who is a Psychotherapist and is determined to meet this woman and try to get her to talk and tell her truth of the events.

I must keep reading to find out what else is going to happen and I think I will be pleasantly surprised to have found a good book and an excellent author, nowadays there are few stories that really catch you and make you want to keep reading every page of the books, we will see what happens and in a post I will tell you what happened with The Silent Patient and what were my appreciations of the book in general. If you haven't read it and you like this kind of stories I recommend you to start reading it from today. 😳
