TAGAYTAY GETAWAY!

Hello everyone!

It's another weekend, and this time I want to talk about some of the trips I took.

Last Saturday, since I am on a Graveyard shift, my shift usually ended at 4:30 AM. So, some of my colleagues decided to have a spontaneous trip going to Tagaytay after shift. That's not what's my original plan for this weekend that's why I'm hesitated to join them to this trip, but still they forced me to come so I have no choice. But the trip ended up so good, that's why I'm not totally regretted to joined them.

So, after shift we immediately go to the nearest MRT Station going to PTIX Bus Terminal where we can ride going directly to Tagaytay. Since, this is not planned ahead of time, we only had our bags that we usually bring at the office.

So we arrived at PITX Bus Terminal and we decided to have a breakfast first before we ride the bus. We ordered chocolate drinks and ensaymada at Muhlach, their ensaymada was so good, I swear, that easily become one of my favorite ensaymada that I've tasted in my whole life, plus they are very affordable. By the way, their ensaymadas have a different variations or flavors, I think what I got is their ensaymada custard.

After we had our brakfast, we already ride the bus so we can arrive early at Tagaytay.

After 3 hours of bus trip from PITX, we already arrived at Tagaytay, finally! The trip was too long that we had time to take some nap and regenerate ourselves before we begin our unexpected Tagaytay trip.

So if you're asking why they decided to have this kind of sponty trip and also how they convinced me to come. It was because of Tagaytay Special Bulalo, which is I already miss. So that's our ultimate goal.

But yeah, we made the decision to head to Tagaytay Starbucks Reserve first because we wanted to make the most of our time there and it also has a beautiful view. From the balcony, we saw the breathtaking view of the Taal Volcano and the smoke it emits. The area outside was covered in clouds and fog, which calms me down in some way. I feel as though I can touch the clouds.

We just had a short time in Tagaytay, so we didn't spend too much time at the Starbucks Reserves. As a result, we immediately started looking for the provincial Special Bulalo. And I recalled that the last time I visited Tagaytay, there was this restaurant there that served amazing and authentic Bulalo. I looked for it right away, and we were able to find it! Thus, "Melencio's" is the name of the restaurant. This restaurant comes highly recommended since the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Anyway, we ordered ofcourse the Bulalo, Pork Pinakbet, and their special Crispy Fried Tawilis (which is also one of my favorite, this is realy nice! I really recommed this one, a must try!)

After eating, we made the decision to visit Tagaytay Picnic Grove because we still had a lot of time before returning home. They tried some of the activities there, like horseback riding. We also purchase fruits there because there are several reasonably priced fruit vendors there.

The experience was really good!
