RE: What goes around

in Weekend Experiences3 months ago

Ah, Becca, you reminded me of when mine went up in smoke. I almost had to call the fire brigade. Hahaha... luckily mine was fixed. I was really upset because I was saving up for my bike and the money ran out, but I took a breath and when I opened the laptop there was an ad for a new bike, the price of which didn't exceed the money I had left. I was happy. Oh, that Leona Lewis song, Bleeding Love.... mmmm, I love it.

It's never good when that happens but we have to make the right decisions, the good thing is you were able to get your bike and I'm sure it has brought you much happiness and enjoyment.

Also, it's an older song but one I like a lot, I'm glad you do also.

Becca! 😀
Bike... as well as making me happy, it has solved a major transport problem for me. You can't imagine how much money we spend here on transport to get to our destination in relative comfort. I'll tell you a secret, I hate the buses (which are cheap) and the people on top of me, sweaty, rude, and .... You can imagine everything that happens in a bus full of people, standing, with hardly any room to move. They also take a long time to get through and you can waste a lot of your time waiting at a bus stop.

I understand, I don't like public transport either and luckily don't have to use it at home. I've used it in other places around the world and it's been ok but is far from my favorite mode of transport.

😃 I wouldn't want to go on a train in India either.

Oh yes, certainly not there.

I've found several places that have been quite ok although at busy times of the day there's so many people jammed in and that's not nice at all. I like my own space.
